Laporan ini membahas pelaksanaan preventive maintenance pada unit Truck
Hino dengan crane Soosan type SCS-736 di Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan
Ruang (PUPR) Aceh. Preventive maintenance bertujuan menjaga keandalan dan
keselamatan alat melalui pemeriksaan rutin terhadap komponen utama seperti pompa
hidrolik, seal, winch dan hook, serta sistem pelumasan mesin. Metode yang digunakan
meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan partisipasi aktif.
Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemeliharaan berkala mampu menurunkan frekuensi
kerusakan, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, serta memperpanjang umur pakai
peralatan. Laporan ini merekomendasikan peningkatan dokumentasi digital dan
pelatihan teknis lanjutan untuk mendukung efektivitas perawatan alat berat.

This report discusses the implementation of preventive maintenance on a Hino Truck unit equipped with a Soosan SCS-736 crane at the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of Aceh. Preventive maintenance aims to ensure the reliability and safety of equipment through routine inspections of key components such as the hydraulic pump, seals, winch and hook, as well as the engine lubrication system. The methods used include field observation, interviews, document review, and active participation. The results show that regular maintenance reduces the frequency of breakdowns, improves operational efficiency, and extends the service life of the equipment. This report recommends enhancing digital documentation and providing advanced technical training to support the effectiveness of heavy equipment maintenance.
