Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media pembelajaran explosion history box pada mata pelajaran sejarah serta menganalisis respon siswa terhadap penggunaannya di SMAN 1 Baitussalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 17 siswa kelas XI MIA-3 yang mengikuti pembelajaran sejarah dengan menggunakan media explosion history box. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media explosion history box berjalan dengan baik, dengan skor aktivitas siswa memperoleh skor observasi 92,63% . Media ini membantu guru menyampaikan materi secara lebih menarik dan memudahkan siswa dalam memahami isi pelajaran. Dari hasil belajar, tercatat sebanyak 16 siswa (94,11%) mencapai ketuntasan, dan hanya 1 siswa (5,88%) yang belum tuntas. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap media ini sangat positif, terlihat dari 28,21% siswa yang memilih “sangat setuju” terhadap pernyataan positif, serta 17,02% yang memilih “sangat tidak setuju” terhadap pernyataan negatif dalam angket. Secara keseluruhan, explosion history box terbukti mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang variatif dan interaktif pada pembelajaran sejarah.

This study aims to describe the application of explosion history box learning media in history subjects and analyze student responses to its use at SMAN 1 Baitussalam. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were 17 students of class XI MIA-3 who took part in history learning using explosion history box media. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and observations. The results of the study showed that the application of explosion history box media went well, with student activity scores obtaining an observation score of 92.63%. This media helps teachers deliver material more interestingly and makes it easier for students to understand the contents of the lesson. From the learning outcomes, it was recorded that 16 students (94.11%) achieved completion, and only 1 student (5.88%) had not completed it. In addition, student responses to this media were very positive, as seen from 28.21% of students who chose "strongly agree" to positive statements, and 17.02% who chose "strongly disagree" to negative statements in the questionnaire. Overall, explosion history box has been proven to be able to provide a varied and interactive learning experience in history lessons. Keywords: Explosion History Box, Learning Media, History Course.
