Ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) merupakan salah satu ikan air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi dan prospek baik untuk dibudidayakan. Probiotik merupakan mikroba hidup yang menguntungkan bagi inang dalam hal ini ikan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Bakteri Asam Laktat Probiotik NJ9 dari saluran pencernaan ikan naleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan pakan BAL probiotik dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pakan sehingga pertumbuhan ikan mas menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah pemberian pakan komersil PF1000 ditambah bakteri probiotik yang dicampurkan ke dalam pakan yaitu: P1: pakan tanpa probiotik (kontrol) 100 gram, P2: pakan 100 gram + BAL, P3: pakan pelet 100 gram + probiotik komersil (EM-4). Hasil penelitian yang dapat disimpulkan berdasarkan uji Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) menunjukkan pengaruh sangat nyata (p

freshwater fish species, widely cultivated due to its fast growth and adaptability. Probiotics, particularly Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB), have emerged as promising feed additives for improving fish health and performance. In this study, NJ9 Probiotic Lactic Acid Bacteria were used from the digestive tract of fish. The research aims to evaluate the effect of dietary supplementation with this LAB probiotic on feed efficiency and growth performance of common carp. The research was conducted by experimental method using a Complete Random Design (RAL) with 3 treatments with four replications each. Fish were fed commercial feed (PF1000) with the following treatments: P1 (control, 100 g feed without probiotic), P2 (100 g feed + LAB NJ9), and P3 (100 g feed + commercial probiotic EM-4) The results of the study based on Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test showed a very significant effect (p < 0.01) on final weight gain (WT), absolute weight, specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion (FCR), and feed utilisation efficiency (EPP). ANOVA test results also showed that the treatment gave a significant effect (p < 0.05) on the absolute length of common carp. However, there was no significant effect on the initial weight (W0) and survival rate (SR) of common carp. The addition of NJ9 probiotic BAL from the digestive tract was able to optimally increase the growth performance and efficiency of common carp compared to other treatments (P1 and P3). Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that LAB NJ9 is an effective and sustainable probiotic for aquaculture. Keywords: Lactic Acid Bacteria (BAL), Goldfish, Feed, Probiotics.
