Penelitian ini berjudul “Eksplorasi, Improvisasi, Spontanitas Dari Syeh
Muhammaddyah Husen Pada Pertunjukan Seumapa”. Rumusan masalah dalam
penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Eksplorasi, Improvisasi dan Spontanitas Syeh
Muhammaddyah Husen pada pertunjukan Seumapa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah
untuk mengetahui, memahami dan mendeskripsikan Eksplorasi, improvisasi,dan
Spontanitas Syeh Muhammaddyah Husen pada pertunjukan Seumapa. Subjek
penelitian ini adalah Syeh muhammadyah husen selaku Syeh seumapa. Data
diperoleh dengan Teknik observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang
digunakan adalah dengan mereduksi data, penyajian, verifikasi data. Hasil
penelitian menujukan bahwa mendapatkan syair yang tepat dan membawa kebagian
bagi pendengarnya membuat syeh harus lakukan eksplorasi setiap sebelum acara
berlangsung dengan pengembangan materi seumapa di sesuaikan dengan keadaan
dan tempat dan sesuai dengan daerah dan lokasi. Melakukan improvisasi apabila
terdapat perubahan situasi pada saat acara berlangsung seperti: terdapat tamu
penting yang menyempatkan hadir, keterlambatan pihak mempelai untuk hadir Dll.
Spontanitas dilakukan saat seumpa berlangsung terdapat hal yang tidak diinginkan
terjadi seperti hujan atau yang lainya syeh harus sigap untuk mengganti syair uuntuk
menyesuaikan kondisi

This research is entitled "Exploration, Improvisation, Spontaneity of Syeh Muhammaddyah Husen in Seumapa Performance". The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the Exploration, Improvisation and Spontaneity of Syeh Muhammaddyah Husen in the Seumapa performance. The purpose of this study is to find out, understand and describe the Exploration, improvisation, and Spontaneity of Syeh Muhammaddyah Husen in the Seumapa performance. The subject of this study is Syeh Muhammadyah Husen as Syeh Seumapa. Data were obtained using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The analysis used is by reducing data, presenting, verifying data. The results of the study show that getting the right verse and bringing a share to the listener makes the sheikh have to explore every time before the event takes place by developing the seumapa material adjusted to the circumstances and place and according to the area and location. Improvising if there is a change in the situation during the event such as: there are important guests who take the time to attend, the bride and groom are late to attend, etc. Spontaneity is done when seumapa takes place, there is something undesirable happening such as rain or others, the sheikh must be alert to change the verse to adjust the conditions
