Alat tangkap yang masih digunakan oleh masyarakat Gampong Pulot untuk menangkap ikan adalah pukat pantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis hasil tangkapan dengan alat tangkap pukat pantai dan pengaruh hari bulan terhadap hasil tangkapan pukat pantai di Gampong Pulot, Kecamatan Leupung, Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan dimulai pada 1 Rajab 1446 H sampai 27 Ramadhan 1446 H. Bertempat di Gampong Pulot, Kecamatan Leupung, Aceh Besar. Data primer dikumpulkan langsung dari sumber pertama meliputi; jenis dan berat hasil tangkapan. Data sekunder diperoleh dari jurnal hasil penelitian dan laporan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Analisis data menggunakan rumus proporsi untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan, uji rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dan uji BNJ untuk mengetahui pengaruh hari bulan. Terdapat 16 jenis ikan dengan total berat 2.926,5 kg. lima jenis ikan dominan yaitu ikan kuwe lilin (Caranx melampygus) 28,43%, ikan teri (Stolephorus indicus) 22,66%, ikan kuwe ramping (Carangoides ciliarus) 19,55%, ikan kuwe rombe (Alectis indica) 5,13%, ikan peperek (Nuchequula nuchalis) 4,96%. Hari bulan dibagi menjadi 7 fase: sabit awal, separuh awal, cembung awal, purnama, cembung akhir, separuh akhir dan sabit akhir yang dihitung selama 3 bulan mulai dari Januari, Februari dan Maret yang bertepatan dengan bulan hijriah Rajab, Sya’ban dan Ramadhan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan fase cembung awal berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil tangkapan alat tangkap pukat pantai di Gampong Pulot, Kecamatan Leupung, Aceh Besar.

Fishing gear still used by the community of Gampong Pulot to catch fish is the beach seine. This study aims to identify the types of catch using beach seine fishing gear and the effect of the lunar phase on beach seine catch in Gampong Pulot, Leupung District, Aceh Besar. The study was conducted over a period of 3 months, starting on January 1 Rajab 1446 Hijri and ending on 27 Ramadhan 1446 Hijri. The study was conducted in Gampong Pulot, Leupung District, Aceh Besar. Primary data was collected directly from primary sources, including the types and weights of catch. Secondary data was obtained from research journals and reports related to this study. Data analysis used the proportion formula to determine the composition of the catch, randomized block design (RAK) tests, and BNJ tests to assess the influence of the lunar day. There were 16 fish species with a total weight of 2,926.5 kg. The five dominant fish species were: waxfish (Caranx melampygus) 28.43%, anchovy (Stolephorus indicus) 22.66%, slender trevally (Carangoides ciliarus) 19.55%, rombe trevally (Alectis indica) 5.13%, and peperek (Nuchequula nuchalis) 4.96%. The lunar month is divided into seven phases: new moon, first quarter, waxing crescent, full moon, last quarter, waning crescent, and new moon, calculated over three months starting from January, February, and March, corresponding to the Islamic months of Rajab, Sha'ban, and Ramadan. The analysis results show that the waxing crescent phase has a significant effect on the catch of beach seine nets in Gampong Pulot, Leupung District, Aceh Besar.
