This study is focused on phonology, which analyzes the sound systems ah d pattern of children's language acquisition especially on the 12-15 months old children. The purposes are' to have a complete description about the number of consonants and vowels that have been acquired by the children and to know the process of children's language acquisition. In this study, the sample is all of the children's utterances who speak Indonesian as their native language. All of the informants lived in Banda Aceh and they were at the age of one year old. The utterances based on the wordlist containing 30 Indonesian words. The procedures in analyzing data are forwarded by Chaer (2003). After data analyzed, it was found that the 12 - 15 months children are able to produce sounds; consonants (p, b, t, d, k, h, m, n, y] and vowels [a, i, u, e, o]. In order to make them easy to acquire the adults' language, they do some simplification in phonological process of language acquisition.
