GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN KETERAMPILAN PERAWAT PELAKSANA DALAM MEMBERIKAN DISCHARGE PLANNING DI RUANG RAWAT INAP BEDAH RUMAH SAKIT UMUM dr. ZAINOEL ABIDIN BANDA ACEH TAHUN 2015


ABSTRAK

Discharge planning merupakan salah satu bentuk asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan kepada pasien yang bermanfaat untuk mempersiapkan pasien untuk dapat melakukan perawatan secara mandiri setelah meninggalkan tempat pelayanan kesehatan. Pada aplikasi discharge planning perawat mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting teruatama dalam memberikan informasi kesehatan kepada pasien, sehingga perawat dituntut untuk mempunyai pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang baik tentang discharge planning. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat pelaksana tentang discharge planning pada pasien bedah di Ruang Rawat Bedah Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh Tahun 2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif dengan sampel 74 orang, menggunakan tenik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 17-25 Juni 2015, dengan alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner dalam bentuk angket dan lembar observasi. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengetahuan perawat pelaksana tentang discharge planning berada pada kategori baik (86,5%) dan keterampilan perawat pelaksana tentang discharge planning berada pada kategori kurang (59,5%). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan informasi kapada pihak rumah sakit sebagai salah masukan dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan serta sumber daya manusia (SDM) khususnya perawat dalam bentuk pelatihan ataupun workshop mengenai discharge planning kepada pasien.

THE DESCRIPTION OF NURSES’ KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL IN PROVIDING DISCHARGE PLANNING IN THE INPATIENT WARDS OF SURGERY IN REGIONAL PUBLIC HOSPITAL dr. ZAINOEL ABIDIN, BANDA ACEH IN 2015

ABSTRACT

Discharge planning is one of the nursing cares given to the patients and it is useful to prepare the patients to be able to do a treatment independently after leaving their health service places. In the application of discharge planning, the nurses have a very important role, mainly, in giving health information to the patients so that the nurses are demanded to have a good knowledge and skill about discharge planning. The objective of this research was to find out the nurses’s knowledge and skill about discharge planning at the surgical patients in the Inpatient Wards of Surgery in Regional Public Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin, Banda Aceh in 2015. The research type was descriptive correlative with 74 persons as the sample. The technique of selecting sample used was a total sampling. The data collection was conducted on 17-25 June 2015. The instrument of data collection used was in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. The data analysis used an univariate analysis. The results of research showed that knowledge of the nurses on discharge planning was at good category (86.5%) and skill of the nurses on discharge planning was at less category (59.5%). These research results are expected to be information to the hospital personnel, especially the nurses. The information becomes one of the inputs for improving the service qualities and human resources, which is performed in the form of training or workshop about discharge planning to the patients.
