RINGKASAN
Perumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana sifat fisika dan kimia tanah lahan tambang batu kapur PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji karakteristik sifat fisika dan kimia tanah lahan tambang batu kapur PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas di Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lahan tambang batu kapur PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas di Aceh Besar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa tahapan penelitian yaitu : tahap awal penelitian atau persiapan, penentuan titik pengamatan dan tahapan pengumpulan data dan analisis data. Sempel tanah yang telah dikompositkan pada masing-masing loasi penelitian kemudia dibawa ke Laboratorium Pemelitian Tanah dan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala dan Laboratorium Fisika Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala. Data hasil pengamatan lapangan dan hasil analisis laboratorium mengenai karakteristik beberapa sifat fisika dan kimia tanah pada lahan bekas tambang batu kapur kemudian diolah menggunakan metode analisis Uji-T (T-test) terhadap variabel yang diamati dilakukan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan nilai sampel uji pada Lokasi 1 dan Lokasi 2. Hasil penelitian tentang analisis sifat fisika dan kimia tanah lahan tambang batu kapur PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) sifat fisika tanah pada lokasi pertama adalah bobot isi tanah 1,27 g/cm dan pada lokasi kedua bobot isi tanah 2,24 g/cm, Struktur tanah pada lokasi pertama adalah gumpal dan pada lokasi kedua struktur tanah prisma dan tiang, 2) Sifat kimia tanah Pada lokasi pertama nilai pH adalah 8,22 dan pada lokasi kedua adalah 8,16. Nilai N total pada lokasi pertama dan lokasi kedua sama yaitu 0,05 %. Nilai C organik pada lokasi pertama adalah 0,22% dan pada lokasi kedua adalah 0.27 %. Nilai P bray pada lokasi pertama adalah 1.50 % dan pada lokasi kedua 2,52 %. Nilai Kapasitas Tukar Kation pada lokasi pertama adalah 15,73 kg1 dan pada lokasi kedua adalah 17,20 kg1. , dan 3) Hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test adalah karakteristik sifat fisika tanah lahan tambang batu kapur PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas untuk klasifikasi tekstur tanah debu dan liat tidak memiliki perbedaan rata-rata nilai uji sampel pada lokasi pertama dan lokasi kedua, sedangkan untuk karakteristik tekstur tanah pasir memiliki perbedaan rata-rata nilai uji sampel pada lokasi pertama dan lokasi kedua. Karakteristik sifat kimia tanah lahan tambang batu kapur PT Solusi Bangun Andalas untuk klasifikasi nilai pH tanah terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai uji sampel tanah pada lokasi pertama dan lokasi kedua. Sedangkan untuk karakteristik nilai N-Total, C-Organik, P-Tersedia dan KTK tidak terdapat perbedan nilai uji sampel pada lokasi pertama dan lokasi kedua.

SUMMARY The formulation of the problem in this study is how are the physical and chemical properties of the soil of the limestone mining land of PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas Lhoknga, Aceh Besar Regency. The purpose of the study is to examine the characteristics of the physical and chemical properties of the soil of the limestone mining land of PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas in Aceh Besar. This research was conducted at the limestone mining land of PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas in Aceh Besar. The research was conducted using several research stages, namely: the initial research stage or preparation, determining the observation point and the stages of data collection and data analysis. The soil samples that have been composited at each research location were then taken to the Soil and Plant Research Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University and the Soil Physics Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University. Data from field observations and laboratory analysis results regarding the characteristics of several physical and chemical properties of soil on ex-limestone mining land were then processed using the T-test analysis method on the observed variables to determine the differences in the test sample values ​​at Location 1 and Location 2. The results of the study on the analysis of physical and chemical properties of the limestone mining land of PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas can be concluded that: 1) the physical properties of the soil at the first location are soil bulk density of 1.27 g/cm and at the second location soil bulk density of 2.24 g/cm, the soil structure at the first location is lumpy and at the second location the soil structure is prism and pillar, 2) Chemical properties of the soil At the first location the pH value is 8.22 and at the second location it is 8.16. The total N value at the first location and the second location is the same, namely 0.05%. The organic C value at the first location was 0.22% and at the second location was 0.27%. The P bray value at the first location was 1.50% and at the second location was 2.52%. The Cation Exchange Capacity value at the first location was 15.73 kg1 and at the second location was 17.20 kg1. , and 3) The results of the Independent Sample T-Test are the characteristics of the physical properties of the limestone mining land of PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas for the classification of dust and clay soil textures have no difference in the average value of the sample test at the first and second locations, while for the characteristics of the sand soil texture there is a difference in the average value of the sample test at the first and second locations. The characteristics of the chemical properties of the limestone mining land of PT Solusi Bangun Andalas for the classification of soil pH values, there is a difference in the average value of the soil sample test at the first and second locations. While for the characteristics of the N-Total, C-Organic, P-Available and CEC values, there is no difference in the sample test values ​​at the first and second locations.
