ZAINOEL ABIDIN BANDA ACEH TAHUN 2015 ABSTRAK Penatalaksanaan fraktur sering dipersulit oleh adanya pengobatan alternatif yang masih populer di Indonesia. Pasien ke rumah sakit dalam kondisi sudah terlambat serta muncul penyulit yang menghambar proses penyembuhannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab keterlambatan mendapat perawatan pada pasien fraktur ekstremitas di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh Tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis deskriptif explorative dan desain cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling yaitu 97 sampel pasien fraktur ekstremitas menggunakan kuesioner berjumlah 26 item pernyataan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 3 Juli sampai 9 Juli 2015. Analisa data dilakukan secara manual dengan mencari distribusi frekuensi untuk setiap variabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlambatan mendapat perawatan pada pasien fraktur ekstremitas dengan subvariabel keterlambatan pasien berada pada kategori terlambat (56,70%), keterlambatan penyedia layanan kesehatan berada pada kategori tidak terlambat (52,88%), dan keterlambatan dalam menerima perawatan berada pada kategori tidak terlambat (52,57%). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pasien fraktur ekstremitas yang di bawa ke Rumah Sakit dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh Tahun 2016 berada pada kategori terlambat (54,63%). Keterlambatan pasien disebabkan oleh ketidaktahuan tentang perawatan yang akan dijalani selama di rumah sakit Hal ini menunjukkan kurangnya pengetahuan pasien tentang perawatan fraktur ekstremitas sehingga terlambat dalam mencari pengobatan.
