Masalah kesehatan yang timbul akibat stroke sangat bervariasi, tergantung kepada luasnya daerah otak yang mengalami infark (kematian jaringan) dan lokasi yang terkena. ROM pasif merupakan salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan oleh keluarga dalam upaya memulihkan kondisi pasien stroke dirumah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya rehabilitasi ROM oleh keluarga terhadap anggota keluarga yang mengalami stroke. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling terhadap 30 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 9 November 2014 dengan menggunakan lembar observasi yang terdiri dari 10 item pernyataan. Analisis data dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya rehabilitasi ROM yang dilakukan oleh keluarga dilakukan dalam kategori dilakukan sesuai prosedur 20 orang (66,7%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti menyarankan hendaknya pihak yang bereperan sebagai petugas kesehatan lebih memfokuskan pada pemberian edukasi terkait upaya rehabilitasi seperti latihan ROM yang dapat dilakukan oleh keluarga yang merawat penderita stroke dirumah. Health problems that arise as aresult of stroke vary widely, depending on the extent of the area of the brain infarct (dead tissue) and the affected area. Physical therapi is one of the effort that can be done by the family as a way to cure the condition of stroke patiens at home. The aim of the study is to find out the caregiver rahabilitation effort by physical therapy on family members who suffer stroke. This research is a descriptive research with sampling technique and its total sample is 30 respondents. This research was conducted on november 9th, 2014 by using the physical therapy observation sheets consisted of 10 items of statements. The data analysis used is the univariate analysis (SPSS). And the result showed that physical therapy perfomed by family in the category was done based on the procedure of 20 people (66.7%). Based on the result of the study, researchers suggest that the service provider refocus on provision by a family who take care patiens at home. Key words: Stroke, Rehabilitaton, ROM.
