Pakan merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam budidaya ikan, karena dapat menyerap 60-70% dari total biaya operasional budidaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) terfermentasi Aspergillus niger sebagai pakan terhadap performa pertumbuhan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 42 hari, menggunakan metode eksperimen dan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, dengan komposisi P0 (Pelet komersial) kontrol, P1 (30% tepung eceng gondok tanpa fermentasi), serta P2 (10%), P3 (20%) dan P4 (30%) tepung eceng gondok fermentasi. Feed is one of the important factors in fish farming, because it can absorb 60-70% of the total operational costs of aquaculture. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of feeding water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) fermented Aspergillus niger as feed on the growth performance of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). This study was conducted for 42 days, using experimental method and Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 3 replicates, with the composition of P0 (Commercial pellets) control, P1 (30% water hyacinth flour without fermentation), and P2 (10%), P3 (20%) and P4 (30%) fermented water hyacinth flour. The results showed that the addition of Aspergillus niger fermented water hyacinth flour at a dose of 30% in treatment (P4) had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on the growth performance and feed utilization of tilapia which included absolute weight growth, daily growth rate, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio and feed efficiency. However, the feed formulation in treatment (P4) had no significant effect on survival and protein retention of tilapia.
