Sebagai pusat pemerintahan dan ekonomi Provinsi Aceh, Kota Banda Aceh mengalami perkembangan pesat pasca tsunami 2004, terkhusus pada sektor pariwisata dan perdagangan, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kunjungan wisatawan setiap tahunnya. Dengan daya tarik budaya, alam, serta kegiatan MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, and Exhibition) yang terus tumbuh, kebutuhan akan akomodasi berbasis bisnis pun semakin meningkat. Meskipun saat ini terdapat 96 hotel di Banda Aceh, hanya sedikit yang memiliki fasilitas pendukung kegiatan bisnis secara lengkap. Oleh karena itu, perancangan hotel bisnis dengan fasilitas konferensi, aksesibilitas yang baik, dan lokasi strategis di pusat kota menjadi kebutuhan mendesak. Konsep Arsitektur Modern yang menekankan efisiensi dan fungsionalitas ruang dinilai tepat untuk mendukung aktivitas para pelaku bisnis dalam mewujudkan prinsip “Getting Things Done,” sehingga dapat menjawab tuntutan perkembangan kota secara efektif dan berkelanjutan.

As the administrative and economic center of Aceh Province, Banda Aceh has experienced significant development since the 2004 tsunami, particularly in the tourism and trade sectors, marked by a consistent increase in tourist visits each year. With its cultural and natural attractions, along with the growing potential for MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, and Exhibition) activities, the demand for business-oriented accommodations continues to rise. Although there are currently 96 hotels in Banda Aceh, only a few offer comprehensive business-supporting facilities. Therefore, the design of a business hotel equipped with conference spaces, strong accessibility, and a strategic location in the city center has become essential. The application of Modern Architecture, which emphasizes space efficiency and functionality, is considered suitable to support business actors in realizing the principle of “Getting Things Done,” effectively responding to the city’s ongoing development.
