ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur komunitas plankton meliputi kelimpahan, keanekaragaman, keseragaman, dan dominansi di perairan Pelabuhan Perikanan Kuala Idi Rayeuk, Aceh Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kuala Idi Rayeuk, Aceh Timur pada bulan Februari 2015. Penelitian menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling dilakukan di 5 (lima) stasiun, pengambilan sampel plankton dilakukan 3 (tiga) pengulangan dalam 3 (tiga) waktu pengambilan berbeda mengunakan plankton net. Fitoplankton yang ditemukan sebanyak 6 kelas terdiri atas kelas Bacillariophyceae, Coscinodiscophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Euglenophyceae, Dinophyceae, dan Raphydophyceae. Zooplankton yang ditemukan sebanyak 2 kelas terdiri dari kelas Polychaeta dan kelas Appendicularia. Tingkat Kelimpahan fitoplankton berasal dari kelas Coscinodiscophyceae ialah 14.825 ind/L, sedangkan tingkat kelimpahan zooplankton berasal dari kelas Polychaeta ialah 48.182 ind/L. Rata-rata indeks keanekaragaman (H’) ialah 0,09 – 0,55, indeks keseragaman (E) ialah 0,05 – 0,45, dan rata indeks dominansi (C) ialah 0,55 – 0,87. Nilai indeks similaritas plankton setiap stasiun memiliki kesamaan yang tinggi yaitu terdapat di stasiun 4 dan stasiun 5 dengan nilai indeks 44 %. ABSTRACT The objective of research analyzed the plankton communities structure consist of abundance, diversity, evenness, and dominance of water Fisheries Port in Kuala Idi Rayeuk. This research was conducted in Kuala Idi Rayeuk in February 2015. The study used a purposive sampling method conducted in 5 (five) sites, plankton sampling conducted three (3) repetitions in three (3) different time sampling used plankton net. Phytoplankton was obtained 6 (six) classes consisted of Bacillariophyceae, Coscinodiscophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Euglenophyceae, Dinophyceae, and Raphydophyceae. Zooplankton was obtained 2 (two) classes consisted of class Polychaeta and class Appendicularia. The abundance of phytoplankton levels derived Coscinodiscophyceae class was 14.825 ind/L, the abundance level of zooplankton Polychaeta class was derived 48.182 ind/L. The average index of diversity (H') 0.0 9 – 0.55, evenness index (E) 0.05 – 0.45, and the average dominance index (C) 0.55 – 0.87. Similarity index value of plankton each stations has a high similarity was obtained in the station 4 and 5 stations with an index value 44%.
