"Kepentingan Elit dalam Konflik Tapal Batas antara Gampong Fajar Harapan dan Gampong Ujung Padang Asahan" dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan penetapan tapal batas gampong yang tak kujung selesai hingga menimbulkan beberapa konflik. Konflik ini melibatkan berbagai pihak dengan kepentingan yang berbeda, di mana elit gampong berperan penting dalam mempengaruhi dinamika dan resolusi konflik Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk menganalisis kepentingan Elit Politik Partai Aceh dalam konflik tapal batas antara gampong Fajar Harapan dan gampong Ujung Padang Asahan dan Untuk mengidentifikasi upaya Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan dalam menyelesaikan konflik tapal batas antara gampong Fajar Harapan dan gampong Ujung Padang Asahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konflik Ralf Dahrendrof, dan konsep peran pemerintahan. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa elit politik, khususnya Partai Aceh, memanfaatkan sentimen kedaerahan dan kepentingan ekonomi untuk memperkuat dukungan kepada salah satu pihak, yang mengakibatkan polarisasi dan ketegangan sosial antara kedua gampong. Upaya penyelesaian konflik melalui mediasi dan rekonsiliasi yang diinisiasi oleh pemerintah daerah belum mencapai kesepakatan yang memuaskan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pendekatan lebih efektif dari pemerintah untuk menyelesaikan konflik tapal batas, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam proses tersebut.

"The Interest of the Elite in the Boundary Conflict between Fajar Harapan Village and Ujung Padang Asahan Village" in the background of the problem of determining the boundary of the village which is endlessly solved to cause several conflicts. This conflict involves various parties with different interests, where the gampong elite plays an important role in influencing the dynamics and resolution of the conflict This research aims to analyze the interests of the Aceh Party Political Elite in the boundary conflict between Fajar Harapan and Ujung Padang Asahan villages and to identify the efforts of the South Aceh Regency Government in resolving the boundary conflict between Fajar Harapan and Ujung Padang Asahan villages. This research uses Ralf Dahrendrof's conflict theory, and the concept of the role of government. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. The results of this study show that the political elite, especially the Aceh Party, takes advantage of regional sentiment and economic interests to strengthen support for one party, resulting in polarization and social tension between the two gampongs. Efforts to resolve conflicts through mediation and reconciliation initiated by local governments have not reached a satisfactory agreement. Therefore, there is a need for a more effective approach from the government to resolve boundary conflicts, as well as increase community involvement in the process.
