Background: Thyroid disorders are conditions in which a person experiences changes in the function or shape of the thyroid gland, which can manifest as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. The diagnosis of thyroid disorders is based on the examination of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Sensitive (TSHS) levels, followed by measurement of free thyroxine (FT4) and free triiodothyronine (FT3). Furthermore, the presence of autoantibodies, such as thyrotropin receptor antibody (TRAb) and anti-thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb), can be detected through laboratory testing. These autoantibodies indicate the presence of autoimmune diseases that target the thyroid gland. Accurate and timely laboratory tests are paramount for the diagnosis and effective treatment of patients with thyroid disease. Objective: The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of TRAb and TPOAb levels on age, gender, FT4 and TSHS levels. Methods: The research design utilised observational analytics with a cross-sectional design, commencing on 3 January 2025. The study was conducted in a private laboratory, wherein medical records were meticulously recorded. These records encompassed age, gender, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels, free triiodothyronine (FT4) levels, and thyrotropin receptor antibody (TRAb) levels. Subsequent to the collection of the data, it underwent rigorous analysis employing a variety of analytical methods, including Pearson's correlation test, T-test, Mann-Whitney test, and Spearman's correlation test. Results: A total of 133 TRAb and 27 TPOAb samples were obtained for the study. The majority of the subjects were female (92.6% for TRAb and 85% for TPOAb), with an age range of 26-45 years. TRAb levels were found to be associated with gender (p=0.01), while TPOAb levels did not demonstrate a similar association (p=0.752). Furthermore, both TRAb and TPOAb levels demonstrated a correlation with TSHS levels (p=0.01 and p=0.03, respectively), though this association was not observed between age and FT4 levels. Conclusion: There is an association of TRAb levels with gender and TSHS and TPOAb levels with gender. Keywords: Thyroid Hormone Function Abnormalities, TRAb, TPOAb, Autoantibodies
