Kehilangan hasil tanaman kedelai akibat persaingan dengan gulma salah satunya ditentukan oleh densitas gulma. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh densitas gulma meniran terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di University Farm Fakultas Pertanian dan Laboratorium Pengelolaan Gulma Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh dari bulan September sampai dengan November 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola non-faktorial dengan 7 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan, sehingga terdapat 35 unit percobaan dan setiap unit percobaan ada 5 polibag sehingga terdapat 175 percobaan. Densitas gulma terdiri dari 7 taraf yaitu D0 = 0 tanpa gulma, D1 = 1 gulma per tanaman, D2 = 2 gulma per tanaman, D3 = 3 gulma per tanaman, D4 = 4 gulma per tanaman, D5 = 5 gulma per tanaman dan D6 = 6 gulma per tanaman. Peubah yang diamati meliputi laju tinggi tanaman, jumlah bintil akar, bobot kering bintil akar, bobot brangkasan basah tanaman, bobot brangkasan kering tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, bobot 100 butir dan bobot biji per tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa densitas gulma meniran berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, bobot 100 butir dan bobot biji per tanaman dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah bintil akar umur 42 HST, bobot brangkasan basah tanaman umur 42 HST dan brangkasan kering tanaman umur 42 HST. Densitas gulma meniran sebanyak 2 sampai 6 gulma per tanaman dapat menurunkan jumlah biji per tanaman, bobot 100 butir dan bobot biji per tanaman.

Soybean yield loss due to competition with weeds is determined by weed density. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of meniran weed density on the growth and yield of soybean plants. This study was conducted at the Research Station of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Weed Management Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh from September to November 2024. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) non-factorial pattern with 7 treatments and 5 replications, so there were 35 experimental units. Weed density consisted of 7 levels, namely D0 = 0 without weeds, D1 = 1 weed per plant, D2 = 2 weeds per plant, D3 = 3 weeds per plant, D4 = 4 weeds per plant, D5 = 5 weeds per plant and D6 = 6 weeds per plant. The variables observed included plant height rate, number of root nodules, dry weight of root nodules, wet weight of plant shoots, dry weight of plant shoots, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, weight of 100 grains and weight of seeds per plant. The results showed that the density of meniran weeds had a very significant effect on the number of pods per plant, the number of seeds per plant, the weight of 100 grains and the weight of seeds per plant and had a significant effect on the number of root nodules at 42 HST, the weight of wet shoots of plants at 42 HST and the dry shoots of plants at 42 HST. The density of meniran weeds of 3 to 6 weeds per plant can reduce the number of pods per plant, the number of seeds per plant, the weight of 100 grains and the weight of seeds per plant.
