ABSTRAK
Gastropoda adalah kelas moluska yang mencakup siput dan bekicot. Mereka memiliki
tubuh tidak simetris, satu kaki besar, dan radula untuk mengikis makanan. Gastropoda
ditemukan di darat, air tawar, dan laut dengan berbagai pola makan. Bivalvia adalah
kelas moluska yang mencakup kerang, remis, dan tiram. Mereka ditandai oleh dua
cangkang yang dapat dibuka dan ditutup, berfungsi sebagai penyaring makanan (filter
feeder), dan hidup di air tawar maupun laut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk
menganalisis struktur komunitas Gastropoda dan Bivalvia di Balohan, Sabang. Metode
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode purposive sampling yang
dilakukan di daerah mangrove dengan lima titik plot. Hasil penelitian pada lima plot
di desa Balohan, Kecamatan Sukajaya, Sabang ditemukan 18 kelas Gastropoda dan 2
kelas Bivalvia. Kepadatan tertinggi terdapat pada Sub plot IV, sebesar 67,00 ind/m2.
Nilai keanekaragaman (H’) pada Sub plot I, 2,1. Nilai Keseragaman (E) pada Sub plot
III, sebesar 0-0,80. Nilai Dominansi Sub plot III sebesar 0,02-0,22. Nilai Pola Sebaran
Jenis pada setiap Sub plot tergolong pada kategori mengelompok. Faktor fisika- kimia
lingkungan perairan tergolong normal dan menunjang kehidupan Gastropoda dan
Bivalvia di desa balohan, Sabang. Kondisi substrat yang berteksut pasir juga sangat
berpengaruh terhadapat kehidupan Gastropoda dan Bivalvia.

iii ABSTRACT Gastropods are a class of mollusks that includes snails and snails. They have asymmetrical bodies, one large leg, and a radula for scraping food. Gastropods are found on land, fresh water and sea with a variety of diets. Bivalves are a class of molluscs that includes clams, mussels, and oysters. They are characterized by two shells that can be opened and closed, function as filter feeders, and live in both fresh and sea water. The aim of this research is to analyze the community structure of Gastropods and Bivalves in Balohan, Sabang. The method used in this research is the purposive sampling method which was carried out in the mangrove area with five plot points. The results of research on five plots in Balohan village, Sukajaya District, Sabang found 18 Gastropoda classes and 2 Bivalvia classes. The highest density is found in Sub plot IV, amounting to 67.00 ind/m2. Diversity value (H') in Sub plot I, 2.1. The Uniformity Value (E) in Sub plot III is 0-0.80. The Dominance Value of Sub plot III is 0.02-0.22. The value of the species distribution pattern in each sub plot is classified as a clustered category. The physicochemical factors of the aquatic environment are classified as normal and support the life of gastropods and bivalves in Balohan village, Sabang. The condition of the sand-textured substrate also greatly influences the life of gastropods and bivalves. Keywords: Community Structure, Gastropods, Bivalves, Substrate, Sabang
