Proses verifikasi merupakan tahapan penting dalam menentukan kelayakan partai
politik untuk berpartisipasi dalam pemilu, yang mencakup verifikasi administratif
dan faktual sesuai dengan peraturan perundangan yang berlaku. Partai Gabthat
sebagai salah satu partai lokal pertama di Aceh telah mendaftar sebagai peserta
pemilu sejak tahun 2009, tapi selalu gagal dalam menghadapi verifikasi partai
politik untuk menjadi peserta pemilu. Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan oleh partai Gabthat dan apa saja
hambatan yang dihadapi dalam mengikuti proses verifikasi sebagai peserta pemilu
2024. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori partai politik Firmanzah. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partai
Gabthat telah berbenah untuk menghadapi verifikasi administrasi dan verifikasi
faktual, hingga kemudian ditetapkan sebagai salah satu partai politik lokal di Aceh
yang berhak mengikuti pemilu tahun 2024. Pada masa verifikasi, Partai Gabthat
mendapatkan hambatan dalam memenuhi kepengurusan di daerah,
ketidakmampuan memiliki kantor cabang, dan ketidakcukupan penyertaan
keterwakilan perempuan.

The verification process is an important stage in determining the eligibility of political parties to participate in elections, which includes administrative and factual verification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Gabthat Party as one of the first local parties in Aceh has registered as an election participant since 2009, but has always failed to face the verification of political parties to become election participants. The writing of this thesis aims to find out how the efforts made by the Gabthat party and what are the obstacles faced in participating in the verification process as a 2024 election participant. The theory used is Firmanzah's political party theory. This research uses a qualitative method. The results showed that the Gabthat party had improved to face administrative verification and factual verification, until it was later determined as one of the local political parties in Aceh entitled to participate in the 2024 elections. During the verification period, Gabthat Party encountered obstacles in fulfilling management in the regions, inability to have branch offices, and insufficient inclusion of women's representation.
