<note>SUMMARY

Meulaboh is a city in the west of Aceh Province. The livelihoods of the people of Meulaboh are agriculture, trade, fishermen and livestock breeders. However, as time goes by, the people of Meulaboh are more interested in doing palm oil business. Moreover, it is supported by the existence of a palm oil factory in Meulaboh, precisely in Padang Sikabu Village, Kaway XVI District, called PT. Karya Tanah Subur (KTS). The large number of oil palm plantations causes the quantity of palm oil processing to also increase. Thus, an increasing amount of waste is produced, both direct waste from harvest such as leaves and fronds and waste from processing such as palm oil shells. To minimize the waste produced, the author tries to make processed products from palm oil shells into charcoal briquettes.
The purpose of writing this assignment is to find out whether charcoal briquette products from palm oil shells are suitable for marketing or not by using the 7P marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, process, physical evidence). The author uses an online questionnaire method using Google Form to find out directly and clearly consumer responses to briquette products. The 7P marketing mix is suitable for increasing marketing of charcoal briquettes from palm oil shells.
The application of the 7P marketing mix to charcoal briquettes from palm oil shells has a big impact on briquette sales. The product produced is branded Black King Briquettes. The price determined after conducting a market survey is IDR 15,000/kg. Production place and marketing place at Syiah Kuala University Teaching Factory Coffee. Apart from that, products are also promoted and sold online using social media. When carrying out promotions and marketing, business actors are friendly, polite and courteous and are very clear in providing product information to potential consumers. Black King briquette packaging is made from transparent plastic.</note>
