Sistem pembayaran e-money kini sudah digunakan di berbagai tempat dan salah
satunya diterapkan di pintu masuk Pelabuhan Ulee Lheue. Pada masa awal
penerapan e-money, masyarakat harus beradaptasi dengan sistem yang baru
tersebut. Penggunaan kartu e-money dapat mengurangi masyarakat membawa uang
tunai dengan jumlah banyak dan diyakini dapat memudahkan dan mempercepat
transaksi di pintu masuk pelabuhan dan penyeberangan pelabuhan tersebut. Tujuan
dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi pengguna sepeda motor
terhadap penerapan e-money dan mengidentifikasikan faktor yang mempengaruhi
penerimaan sistem e-money di Pelabuhan Ulee Lheue. Penelitian ini termasuk
deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode analisis
faktor (Exploratory Factor Analysis). Indikator yang ditinjau berasal dari
Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Hasil yang didapatkan dari kuesioner yang
disebarkan untuk persepsi pengguna sepeda motor terhadap penerapan e-money
adalah 75% pengguna merasa pembayaran menjadi lebih cepat, 12% pengguna
merasa pembayaran lebih aman, sedangkan 13% merasa kurang efektif dan
terkendala eror. Berdasarkan hasil analisis faktor, dari 28 variabel yang diuji
diperoleh 3 variabel laten (faktor) yang memengaruhi penerimaan tersebut, yaitu
faktor kegunaan, faktor kenyamanan, dan faktor efisiensi.

The e-money payment system is now being utilized in various locations, including its implementation at the entrance of Ulee Lheue Port. During the initial phase of e-money adoption, the community had to adapt to this new system. The use of e money cards can reduce the need for individuals to carry large amounts of cash and is believed to facilitate and expedite transactions at the port entrance and ferry crossings. The objective of this research is to understand the perceptions of motorcycle users regarding the implementation of e-money and to identify the factors influencing the acceptance of the e-money system at Ulee Lheue Port. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach. The method used in this research is Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The indicators examined are derived from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results obtained from the questionnaires distributed to motorcycle users regarding their perceptions of e money implementation indicate that 75% of users feel that payments are faster, 12% believe that payments are more secure, while 13% find the system less effective and encounter errors. Based on the factor analysis results, out of 28 tested variables, three latent variables (factors) influencing acceptance were identified: perceived usefulness, perceived convenience, and perceived efficiency.
