Motivasi belajar adalah dorongan atau keinginan siswa untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran. Salah satu yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa adalah gaya mengajar. Gaya mengajar adalah ciri-ciri kebiasaan, kesukaan yang penting hubungannya dengan murid, bahkan gaya mengajar lebih dari suatu kebiasaan dan cara istimewa dari tingkah laku atau pembicaraan guru atau dosen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya mengajar guru ekonomi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada jurusan IPS SMA N 2 Kuta Baro Aceh Besar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Baro jurusan IPS tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Sampel dari penelitian adalah kelas XI-XII jurusan IPS yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana, koefisien determinan dan uji t dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya mengajar berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari t-hitung sebesar 1,701 dan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, pengaruh gaya mengajar guru terhadap motivasi siswa dapat dilihat dari besarnya koefisien determinan R Square (r2) sebesar 37,5% pengaruh yang diberikan oleh variabel gaya mengajar guru terhadap variabel motivasi Belajar Siswa Jurusan IPS di SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Baro Aceh Besar.

[Thesis. Syiah Kuala University]. Under the guidance of Dra. Ruaida, M.Si and Dr. T.M Jamil, M.Sc. Learning motivation is the student’s encouragement or desire to carry out learning. One thing that influences student learning motivation is teaching style. Teaching style is a characteristic of habits, preferences that are important in relation to students, in fact teaching style is more than a habit and special way of behavior or conversation of the teacher or lecturer. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of economics teachers’ teaching styles on students’ learning motivation in the Social Sciences department of SMA N 2 Kuta Baro Aceh Besar. The approach used is a descriptive quantitative approach. The population of this research is students of SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Baro majoring in Social Sciences for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 30 students. The sample from the research was class XI-XII majoring in Social Sciences, totaling 30 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses a simple linear regression test, determinant coefficient and t test using SPSS version 25. The results of the research show that teaching style has an influence on student learning motivation, this can be seen from the tcount of 1.701 and the significance value obtained is 0.000 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The influence of the teacher’s teaching style on student motivation can be seen from the magnitude of the determinant coefficient R Square (r2) of 37.5%. The influence exerted by the teacher’s teaching style variable on the student learning motivation variable. Social Sciences Department at SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Baro Aceh Besar.
