Konflik Sosial Dalam Pemerintahan Gampong antara Tuha Peut dan Keuchik Terpilih di Gampong Krueng Batu merupakan konflik yang mencerminkan dinamika ketegangan yang timbul akibat perbedaan kepentingan, pandangan, dan ketidakselarasan tujuan kedua pihak yang memiliki peran penting dalam tata kelola gampong. Ketidakselarasan tujuan antara Keuchik dan Tuha Peut memperburuk hubungan kerja hingga mengakibatkan pada perpecahan, yang seharusnya bersifat kolaboratif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana konflik sosial dalam pemerintahan gampong antara Keuchik terpilih dan Tuha Peut di Gampong Krueng Batu. Menggunakan teori Konflik Sosial dari Ralf Dahrendrof dengan dua indikator utama, yaitu Konflik Destruktif dan Konflik Konstruktif. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Keuchik, Tuha Peut sebagai aktor berkonflik, perangkat gampong, dan masyarakat gampong. Informan dipilih menggunkan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang tidak efektif dapat memicu konflik destruktif. Kasus ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang buruk memicu tindakan pembunuhan karakter sebagai salah satu bentuk manifestasi konflik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, studi kasus dengan metode wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen, ditemukan bahwa ketidakmampuan kedua pihak untuk kolaborasi secara efektif serta kurangnya komunikasi menciptakan kondisi yang kondusif bagi konflik berkepanjangan. Pembunuhan karakter menjadi strategi yang digunakan Tuha Peut untuk melemahkan posisi Keuchik, berdampak negatif terhadap stabilitas dan harmoni sosial di Gampong. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konflik tidak hanya merugikan individu yang terlibat, tetapi juga mengancam terjadinya perpecahan dalam pemerintahan gampong. Diperlukan peningkatan komunikasi dan kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan untuk mencegah terjadinya konflik destruktif di masa depan.

Social Conflict in Gampong Government between Tuha Peut and the Elected Keuchik in Gampong Krueng Batu is a conflict that reflects the dynamics of tension that arise due to differences in interests, views and incongruence in the goals of the two parties who have an important role in gampong governance. The misalignment of goals between Keuchik and Tuha Peut worsened the working relationship and resulted in a split, which should have been collaborative. The aim of this research is to find out how social conflict occurs in the gampong government between the elected Keuchik and Tuha Peut in Gampong Krueng Batu. Using Ralf Dahrendrof's Social Conflict theory with two main indicators, namely Destructive Conflict and Constructive Conflict. The informants in this research consisted of Keuchik, Tuha Peut as a conflict actor, village officials and the village community. Informants were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of this research show that ineffective communication can trigger destructive conflict. This case shows that poor communication triggers character assassination as a form of conflict manifestation. Through a qualitative approach, case studies using in-depth interview methods and document analysis, it was found that the inability of both parties to collaborate effectively and the lack of communication created conditions conducive to prolonged conflict. Character assassination was a strategy used by Tuha Peut to weaken Keuchik's position, having a negative impact on social stability and harmony in Gampong. This research concludes that conflict is not only detrimental to the individuals involved, but also threatens to cause divisions in the gampong government. Increased communication and collaboration between stakeholders is needed to prevent destructive conflicts from occurring in the future.
