Tawuran merupakan perkelahian atau tindak kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh sekelompok remaja. Peristiwa tawuran seringkali melibatkan kekerasan fisik dan bisa menyebabkan kerusakan harta benda, cedera, bahkan kematian. Perilaku ini tidak hanya mengancam keselamatan pelajar itu sendiri, tetapi juga menimbulkan ketakutan dan kekhawatiran bagi masyarakat sekitar. Sebagai bagian integral dari lingkungan pendidikan, guru memegang peran penting dalam pendidikan karakter dan pembentukan perilaku siswa. Upaya guru terhadap tawuran antar pelajar bisa mempengaruhi upaya pencegahan dan penanganan kasus-kasus tawuran di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat gambaran tingkat upaya guru dalam mengatasi terjadinya perilaku tawuran antar pelajar di SMK kota Lhokseumawe. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan ke sekolah dan disebarkan secara online kepada guru-guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMK kota Lhokseumawe yang berjumlah 224 dengan sampel 144 guru. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan sampling sukarela (voluntary sampling) dan teknik perhitungan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa upaya guru dalam mengatasi perilaku tawuran antar pelajar di SMK kota Lhokseumawe berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 72.2% yang berarti lebih dari setengahnya guru SMK di kota Lhokseumawe memiliki upaya yang sangat tinggi dalam mengatasi tawuran antar pelajar di kota Lhokseumawe. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa per aspek diketahui bahwa upaya yang paling tinggi dilakukan guru ialah upaya pembinaan sebagian besar berada di kategori sangat tinggi dengan presentase 81.9% yang artinya sebagian besar guru memiliki upaya. Sedangkan upaya preventif lebih dari setengahnya guru telah berupaya dalam mengatasi terjadinya tawuran dengan presentase 77.1%, dan upaya kuratif dengan presentase 61.8% yang artinya lebih dari setengahnya guru telah melakukan upaya tersebut.

Brawls often involve physical violence and can cause property damage, injury, and even death. This behavior not only threatens the safety of the students themselves, but also causes fear and concern for the surrounding community. As an integral part of the educational environment, teachers play an important role in character education and the formation of student behavior. Teachers' efforts towards brawls between students can influence efforts to prevent and handle cases of brawls in schools. The purpose of this study was to see a picture of the level of teacher efforts in overcoming the occurrence of brawl behavior between students at SMK in Lhokseumawe City. The approach in this study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection technique used a questionnaire given to the school and distributed online to teachers. The population in this study was 224 SMK teachers in Lhokseumawe City with a sample of 144 teachers. The sample collection technique used voluntary sampling and the sample calculation technique used the Slovin formula. The results of the study showed that the efforts of teachers in overcoming brawl behavior between students in SMK in Lhokseumawe city were in the very high category with a percentage of 72.2%, which means that more than half of SMK teachers in Lhokseumawe city had very high efforts in overcoming brawls between students in Lhokseumawe city. Furthermore, an analysis per aspect was carried out and it was found that the highest efforts made by teachers were coaching efforts, most of which were in the very high category with a percentage of 81.9%, which means that most teachers had efforts. While preventive efforts, more than half of the teachers had made efforts in overcoming brawls with a percentage of 77.1%, and curative efforts with a percentage of 61.8%, which means that more than half of the teachers had made these efforts.
