Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keterampilan dasar psikomotorik laboratorium siswa di SMA Swasta Methodist Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA yang berjumlah 22 orang dimana 10 orang laki-laki dan 12 orang perempuan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara kepada siswa dan guru pengampu mata pelajaran kimia kelas XI IPA dan instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar penilaian psikomotorik siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pengetahuan siswa untuk keterampilan dasar laboratorium yaitu sebesar 95,5% dan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha 0,657 termasuk ke kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terdapat kecocokan jawaban di indikator membersihkan alat yang telah dipakai dan membuang limbah bahan kimia sesuai jenisnya. Kedua indikator tersebut masing-masing memperoleh skor 70 dan 66. Hal ini dipengaruhi tidak adanya sabun di laboratorium sekolah sehingga menjadi kebiasaan siswa mencuci alat laboratorium tanpa menggunakan sabun. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan keterampilan psikomotorik siswa di SMA Swasta Methodist Banda Aceh mengenai keterampilan dasar laboratorium berkategori sangat baik dengan nilai persentasi rata-rata 95,5%.

Vazilla. (2024). Analysis of the Application of Basic Psychomotor Laboratory Skills in Acid-Base Solution Material at Banda Aceh Methodist Private High School. [Skripsi. Syiah Kuala University]. Under the guidance of Mrs. Ratu Fazlia Inda Rahmayani, S.Pd., M.Sc and Mr. Dr. Drs. Syahrial, M.Si. This study aims to measure the basic laboratory psychomotor skills of students at Banda Aceh Methodist Private High School. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were 22 students in class XI Science, of which 10 were men and 12 were women. Research data was collected through interviews with students and teachers teaching chemistry in class XI Science and the instrument used was a student psychomotor assessment sheet. The results of data analysis show that the average value of students' knowledge for basic laboratory skills is 95.5% and the Cronbach's Alpha value is 0.657, which is in the very good category. Based on the results of the analysis, there is a match in the answers to the indicators for cleaning tools that have been used and disposing of chemical waste according to the type. These two indicators respectively received scores of 70 and 66. This was influenced by the absence of soap in the school laboratory so that it became a habit for students to wash laboratory equipment without using soap. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the psychomotor skills of students at Banda Aceh Methodist Private High School regarding basic laboratory skills are in the very good category with an average percentage score of 95.5%.
