ABSTRAK
Selama 18 tahun juga Aceh berada di bawah kendali parlok. Sudah banyak perubahan yang dirasakan sejak konflik berhenti di Aceh, terlebih jika dilihat dari segi infrastruktur dan pembangunan. Akan tetapi, masih banyak tugas dan perubahan yang dapat dilakukan agar perdamaian Aceh dapat terus terjaga dan memberikan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat. Beberapa penelitian pun menyebutkan bahwa Aceh saat ini belum menunjukkan perdamaian positif. Di mana Aceh belum mampu menjalani pembangunan pasca konflik dan akar penyebab konflik pun belum diusut tuntas. Oleh karena itu, menarik dilakukan penelitian tentang “Analisis Peran Partai Politik Lokal dalam Merawat Perdamaian di Aceh” dengan mengambil lokasi penelitian Banda Aceh. Pertimbangan mengambil wilayah tersebut sebagai lokasi penelitian dikarenakan Banda Aceh sebagai pusat pelaksanaan pemerintahan Aceh. Adapun jenis penelitian termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif yang sifatnya deskriptif, dengan menggunakan Teknik memperoleh data melalui wawancara. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Serta melihat permasalahan penelitian menggunakan teori Struktural fungsional dari Robert K. Merton. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah secara fungsi manifest partai lokal dalam merawat perdamaian Aceh masih berperan dalam ranah lokal, belum terlihat peran partai lokal di ranah nasional. Sudah ada usaha untuk memperjuangkan self government sebagaimana yang diatur dalam MoU Helsinki, namun belum ada hasil dari pemerintah pusat.

ABSTRACT For 18 years, Aceh was under political control. Many changes have been felt since the conflict stopped in Aceh, especially when viewed in terms of infrastructure and development. However, there are still many tasks and changes that can be made so that peace in Aceh can continue to be maintained and provide prosperity for the community. Several studies also state that Aceh is currently not showing positive peace. Where Aceh has not been able to undergo post-conflict development and the root causes of the conflict have not been thoroughly investigated. Therefore, it is interesting to carry out research on "Analysis of the Role of Local Political Parties in Maintaining Peace in Aceh" by taking the research location Banda Aceh. The consideration for taking this area as a research location is because Banda Aceh is the center of implementation of the Aceh government. The type of research is included in the type of qualitative research which is descriptive in nature, using the technique of obtaining data through interviews. This research uses a purposive sampling method. As well as looking at research problems using functional structural theory from Robert K. Merton. The results obtained from this research are that in terms of the function of local party manifests in maintaining peace in Aceh, they still play a role in the local realm, the role of local parties in the national realm is not yet visible. There have been efforts to fight for self-government as stipulated in the Helsinki MoU, but there have been no results from the central government.
