Minyak dan gas atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai energi hidrokarbon merupakan salah satu energi yang masih sangat diminati dan digunakan dalam perkembangan dunia saat ini. Cekungan Sumatera Utara menjadi salah satu cekungan di Sumatera yang aktif menghasilkan kandungan hidrokarbon. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada zona reservoar Alfa Lapangan “X” Cekungan Sumatera Utara. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis nilai parameter petrofisika pada reservoar Alfa Lapangan “X” Cekungan Sumatera Utara, yaitu menghitung nilai dari parameter Volume shale (Vsh), Saturasi air (Sw), Porositas (∅), dan Permebilitas batuan. Data yang digunakan berupa data sumur log yang berjumlah 11 well log dan litologi daerah penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mencapai tujuan berupa kombinasi antara motede kualitatif dan kuantitatif parameter petrofisika. Hasil analisis petrofisika yang didapatkan pada zona reservoar Alfa yaitu rata-rata Volume Shale (Vsh) sebesar 14.13%, rata-rata Saturasi air (Sw) sebesar 75.78%, rata-rata porositas batuan (Φ) sebesar 25.64%, rata-rata permeabilitas 299,41%, dan nilai cut-off menunjukkan bahwa data terakumulasi dengan baik pada daerah resevoar. Sehingga, zona reservoar Alfa Lapangan “X” Cekungan Sumatera Utara dinilai sangat baik.

Oil and gas, or more commonly referred to as hydrocarbon energy, remains one of the most highly demanded and utilized energy sources in the current global development. The North Sumatra Basin is one of the basins in Sumatra that is actively producing hydrocarbon reserves. This study was conducted on the Alfa reservoir zone of the "X" Field in the North Sumatra Basin. The objective of this research is to analyze the values of petrophysical parameters in the Alfa reservoir zone of the "X" Field, specifically calculating the values of shale volume (Vsh), water saturation (Sw), porosity (Φ), and rock permeability. The data used in this study consists of well log data from 11 wells and lithological data of the study area. The methodology employed in this research combines both qualitative and quantitative approaches to determine the petrophysical parameters. The results of the petrophysical analysis obtained for the Alfa reservoir zone indicate an average shale volume (Vsh) of 14.13%, an average water saturation (Sw) of 75.78%, an average rock porosity (Φ) of 25.64%, and an average permeability of 299.41%. The cut-off value indicates that the data are well accumulated within the reservoir area. Thus, the Alfa reservoir zone of the "X" Field in the North Sumatra Basin is considered to possess significant potential. Keywords: Well Logging, Petrophysics, North Sumatra Basin
