Salah satu infrastruktur yang mampu mendorong pertumbuhan pusat perekonomian baru adalah pembangunan jalan tol. Pembangunan jalan tol Banda Aceh-Sigli (SIBANCEH), salah satunya yaitu ruas Kuta Baro-Baitussalam yang diresmikan pada tanggal 13 September 2023. Gerbang tol Baitussalam merupakan bagian dari ruas Kuta Baro-Baitussalam yang termasuk kedalam seksi 6. Pembangunan jalan tol ini tidak hanya mengubah lanskap fisik, tetapi juga mempenngaruhi kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan masyarakat di sekitar area gerbang tol. Masyarakat di radius 1 km dari gerbang tol, terutama di desa-desa seperti Kajhu, Cot Paya, Lampineung, Klieng Cot Aron, Klieng Meuria, dan Lambada Lhok, merasakan pengaruh langsung dari keberadaan tol ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana keberadaan gerbang tol Baitussalam memengaruhi aspek sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan masyarakat di Kecamatan Baitussalam, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis skoring untuk memahami persepsi masyarakat, observasi lapangan untuk mengamati kondisi aktual, serta wawancara mendalam guna mendapatkan informasi yang lebih terperinci. Selanjutnya uji validitas dan reliabilitas memastikan kualitas kuesioner yang digunakan, sementara uji non-parametrik diterapkan untuk mengukur pengaruh pada pendapatan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan gerbang tol Baitussalam memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap masyarakat setempat, dengan tujuh indikator utama yang teridentifikasi. Dari aspek sosial, dampak meliputi kepadatan lalu lintas, penurunan interaksi sosial, dan peningkatan jumlah pendatang. Dari aspek ekonomi, terdapat peluang usaha baru dan peningkatan pendapatan. Sementara itu, dari aspek lingkungan, terjadi peningkatan polusi udara dan kebisingan. Dengan demikian, keberadaan gerbang tol Baitussalam membawa dampak yang beragam dan kompleks, mencerminkan pengaruhnya terhadap kehidupan masyarakat di sekitar area gerbang tol Baitussalam.

One type of infrastructure that can drive the growth of new economic centers is the construction of toll roads. The Banda Aceh-Sigli (SIBANCEH) toll road, particularly the Kuta Baro-Baitussalam segment, was inaugurated on September 13, 2023. The Baitussalam toll gate is part of the Kuta Baro-Baitussalam segment, which falls within section 6. This toll road construction not only alters the physical landscape but also affects the social, economic, and environmental conditions of communities around the toll gate area. Residents within a 1 km radius of the toll gate, especially in villages such as Kajhu, Cot Paya, Lampineung, Klieng Cot Aron, Klieng Meuria, and Lambada Lhok, feel the direct impact of this toll gate. This study aims to analyze how the presence of the Baitussalam toll gate influences the social, economic, and environmental aspects of the community in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency. Using both quantitative and qualitative approaches, this research employs scoring analysis techniques to understand community perceptions, field observations to assess actual conditions, and in-depth interviews to gather more detailed information. Additionally, validity and reliability tests ensure the quality of the questionnaire used, while non-parametric tests are applied to measure the impact on community income.The findings show that the presence of the Baitussalam toll gate has a significant impact on the local community, identifying seven key indicators. From a social perspective, the impacts include traffic congestion, decreased social interaction, and an increase in the number of newcomers. From an economic perspective, new business opportunities and increased income are observed. Meanwhile, from an environmental perspective, there is an increase in air pollution and noise. Thus, the presence of the Baitussalam toll gate brings diverse and complex impacts, reflecting its influence on the lives of those around the toll gate area.
