Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Utara, Timur, Tengah dan Barat Aceh yaitu
Kabupaten Aceh Utara, Aceh Barat Daya, Aceh Besar dan Gayo Lues. Tujuan
penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan klimatologi bulan basah, kering, dan peralihan dan
mendapatkan rata-rata curah hujan bulanan dengan grafik time series. Pengambilan
data dilakukan menggunakan data Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation
with Station Data (CHIRPS) meliputi pengumpulan data curah hujan dan identifikasi
rata-rata curah hujan berbentuk time series. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan curah
hujan sangat bervariasi dan memiliki dua tipe pola curah hujan yaitu monsun dan
ekuatorial. Pola monsun memiliki tipe curah hujan dengan bentuk unimodial atau
dua puncak hujan sedangkan pola ekuatorial memiliki tipe curah dengan bentuk
bimodial atau dua puncak musim hujan. Aceh Utara memiliki tipe curah hujan
monsun dengan puncak musim hujan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Desember 239
mm/bulan, musim peralihan pada bulan September 149 mm/bulan dan puncak musim
hujan terendah pada bulan Februari 89 mm/bulan. Aceh Barat Daya memiliki tipe
curah hujan ekuatorial dengan puncak hujan terjadi pada bulan Maret dan November,
puncak musim hujan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Maret 344 mm/bulan, musim
peralihan pada bulan April 252 mm/bulan dan puncak musim hujan terendah pada
bulan Juni 140 mm/bulan. Aceh Besar memiliki tipe curah hujan monsun dengan
puncak musim hujan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Desember sebesar 287 mm/bulan,
musim peralihan pada bulan September 178 mm/bulan dan puncak musim hujan
terendah pada bulan Juli 99 mm/bulan. Gayo Lues memiliki tipe curah hujan
ekuatorial dengan puncak hujan terjadi pada bulan Maret dan Oktober, puncak
musim hujan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Oktober 314 mm/bulan, musim peralihan
pada bulan September 241 mm/bulan dan puncak musim hujan terendah pada bulan
Februari 124 mm/bulan.

This research was conducted in the North, East, Central and West Aceh regions, namely North Aceh, Southwest Aceh, Greater Aceh and Gayo Lues Districts. The purpose of this study was to obtain the climatology of wet, dry and transitional months and to obtain the average monthly rainfall with a time series graph. Data collection was carried out using Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Station Data (CHIRPS) data including the collection of rainfall data and identification of average rainfall in the form of a time series. The results of this study showed that rainfall varies greatly and has two types of rainfall patterns, namely monsoon and equatorial. The monsoon pattern has a rainfall type with a unimodial form or two rainfall peaks while the equatorial pattern has a rainfall type with a bimodial form or two rainy season peaks. North Aceh has a monsoon rainfall type with the highest rainy season peak occurring in December 239 mm/month, the transition season in September 149 mm/month and the lowest rainy season peak in February 89 mm/month. Southwest Aceh has an equatorial rainfall type with the peak of rainfall occurring in March and November, the highest peak of the rainy season occurs in March 344 mm/month, the transition season in April 252 mm/month and the lowest peak of the rainy season in June 140 mm/month. Aceh Besar has a monsoon rainfall type with the highest peak of the rainy season occurring in December at 287 mm/month, the transition season in September 178 mm/month and the lowest peak of the rainy season in July 99 mm/month. Gayo Lues has an equatorial rainfall type with the peak of rainfall occurring in March and October, the highest peak of the rainy season occurring in October 314 mm/month, the transition season in September 241 mm/month and the lowest peak of the rainy season in February 124 mm/month.
