Penelitian inventarisasi jenis rayap yang menyerang kelapa sawit pada dua jenis kebun berbeda di Kecamatan Babahrot telah dilakukan pada Juli 2023 hingga Agustus 2023. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berbagai jenis rayap yang menyerang kelapa sawit pada tiap lahan dengan tipe yang berbeda yaitu berbuah dan tidak berbuah serta persentase serangannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Purpossive Sampling untuk pemilihan lokasi penelitian yang berada di lahan kelapa sawit. Metode yang digunakan di lapangan yaitu metode survei eksploratif pada lahan kelapa sawit seluas 0.5 ha per lahan dan rayap dikoleksi menggunakan metode koleksi koloni. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ditemukan lima belas jenis rayap dari tiga belas genera yang menyerang kelapa sawit pada kebun berbuah dan tidak berbuah. Jenis rayap yang ditemukan yaitu S. medioobscurus, S. javanicus, S. longirostris, S. brevialathus, S. tarakensis, C. kalshoueni kemnir, C. curvignathus, N. matangensis, N. roboratus, Nasutitermes sp. A, Parrinotermes aequalis, Hypotermes xenotermitis, O. grandicep, O. javanicus dan O. mathuri. Terdapat perbedaan jumlah yang ditemukan pada kedua jenis kebun. Persentase serangan rayap pada lahan kelapa sawit dari kedua lokasi termasuk kedalam serangan ringan yaitu 13,2 % dan 12,9 %.

Research on the inventory of termite species that attack oil palms in two different types of plantations in Babahrot District was conducted from July 2023 to August 2023. The purpose of this study was to determine the various types of termites that attack oil palms in each land with different types, namely fruiting and non-fruiting and the percentage of attacks. This study used the Purposive Sampling method to select research locations located in oil palm plantations. The method used in the field was the exploratory survey method on oil palm land covering an area of 0.5 ha per land and termites were collected using the colony collection method. The results of the study showed that fifteen species of termites from thirteen genera were found that attacked oil palms in fruiting and non-fruiting plantations. The types of termites found were S. medioobscurus, S. javanicus, S. longirostris, S. brevialathus, S. tarakensis, C. kalshoueni kemnir, C. curvignathus, N. matinasensis, N. roboratus, Nasutitermes sp. A, Parrinotermes aequalis, Hypotermes xenotermitis, O. grandicep, O. javanicus and O. mathuri. There are differences in the number found in both types of gardens. The percentage of termite attacks on oil palm plantations from both locations is included in light attacks, namely 13.2% and 12.9%.
