Kawasan tambak Saney merupakan pesisir semi tertutup dan kadar air laut terlarut dalam air tawar
dari Sungai. Potensi hasil perikanan yang di manfaatkan masyarakat Saney berupa sumber daya
ikan dan makrozoobentos. Makrozoobenthos mampu menjadi salah satu komponen yang dapat
menunjukkan kualitas di suatu perairan karena memiliki habitat yang cenderung relatif menetap
dan sensitif terhadap perubahan lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis
kelimpahan dan keanekaragaman jenis - jenis makrozoobenthos yang ada di kawasan tambak
Saney serta mengukur parameter kualitas air. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive
sampling (secara terpilih) dengan 3 stasiun dan 3 kali ulangan di tiap stasiunnya. Identifikasi
makrozoobenthos dilakukan hingga tingkat genus. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis di
Lab Biologi Laut dengan menggunakan buku identifikasi buku panduan FAO Vol 1 tahun 1988.
Hasil penelitian menemukan 6 genus makrozoobenthos. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman sebesar
0,97 (stasiun 1), 0,77 (stasiun 2), dan 0,69 (stasiun 3). Nilai indeks keseragaman sebesar 0,37
(stasiun 1), 0,33 (stasiun 2), dan 0,34 (stasiun 3). Nilai indeks dominansi sebesar 0.90 (stasiun 1),
0,91 (stasiun 2), dan 1 (stasiun 3). Parameter air yang diukur yaitu nilai pH, suhu, salinitas dan
DO. Hasil pengukuran pH didapatkan dengan hasil 9,5 di semua stasiun, pengukuran suhu dengan
hasil 39 °C sampai 39,5 °C, pengukuran salinitas 20 sampai 20,3 ppt dan DO 4,3 sampai 4,7 mg/L.
Hasil analisis tekstur sedimen didapatkan dengan hasil pasir berlempung di semua stasiun.

Saney pond area is semi-enclosed coastal and sea water levels dissolved in fresh water from the river. Potential fishery products that are utilized by the people of Saney in the form of fish and macrozoobenthos resources. Macrozoobenthos can be one of the components that can indicate the quality of a body of water because it has a habitat that tends to be relatively sedentary and sensitive to environmental changes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the abundance and diversity of macrozoobenthos species in the Saney pond area and measure water quality parameters. This study used purposive sampling method (selected) with 3 stations and 3 replicates at each station. Identification of macrozoobenthos is done up to the genus level. The data obtained were then analyzed in the Marine Biology Lab using the identification book FAO manual Vol 1 in 1988. The results found 6 genus of macrozoobenthos. Diversity index value of 0.97 (station 1), 0.77 (station 2), and 0.69 (station 3). Uniformity index value of 0.37 (station 1), 0.33 (station 2), and 0.34 (station 3). The dominance index value is 0.90 (station 1), 0.91 (station 2), and 1 (station 3). The measured water parameters are pH value, temperature, salinity and DO. The results of pH measurements were obtained with a result of 9.5 at all stations, temperature measurements with results of 39 ° C -39.5 ° C, salinity measurements of 20-20.3 ppt and DO 4.3-4.7 mg/L. The results of sediment texture analysis were obtained with the results of loamy sand at all stations.
