Title	: The Use of Language Game Technique in Improving Students’ Speaking Skill&#13;

This study aims at examining whether the students who are taught by using language game technique in speaking skill better in learning achievement than those who are not taught by using this technique. Quantitative approach with experimental study of  pretest-postest control group design was undertaken to overcome the problems faced by students in learning speaking skill. The instrument used to collect the data in this study through the test in the form of oral test. The result of the data analyzed by using speaking criteria proposed by Brown (2004). In addition, some statisctical formulae were also used to analyze the data. From the results of the study revealed that there is a significant improvement on students’ ability in speaking after the language game technique was implemented. Therefore, language game can be one of alternative techniques used by the teacher in teaching speaking in EFL class. &#13;
