ABSTRAK
Program Community Development membangun kerja sama antara komunitas dan
masyarakat guna menumbuhkembangkan potensi wisata daerah masyarakat, selain
itu memperbaiki kondisi ekonomi, sosial, dan kebudayaan masyarakat untuk
mencapai kualitas hidup yang lebih baik. Peran Komunikasi Pariwisata di era digital
dimana Proses komunikasi berperan penting bagi wisatawan dan penduduk
setempat sehingga dapat bertukar pesan mengenai kebudayaan masing-masing. Hal
ini menyebabkan ikatan Duta Wisata Kota Banda Aceh dengan mudah
mempromosikan potensi wisata. Meskipun demikian, ada sejumlah fenomena yang
terjadi di industri ini. Misalnya, sebagian orang masih percaya bahwa duta wisata
hanya berfungsi sebagai tuan rumah dan tidak mempunyai fungsi lain dalam
masyarakat. Fungsi komunikasi terkadang menimbulkan miskonsepsi yang
seringkali memicu perdebatan antar masyarakat dan kelompok serta berdampak
pada hubungan antarpribadi di dunia nyata. Dengan menggunakan teknik kualitatif
dan desain penelitian deskriptif, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
bagaimana program Bina Lingkungan Agam Inong di kota Banda Aceh
berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan potensi wisata desa Ulee Lheue.
Menggunakan Teori Peran sebagai landasan. Temuan akhir penelitian setelah
melakukan kegiatan program saweu gampong ini adalah bahwa fungsi komunitas
duta wisata bukan hanya sekedar simbolis melainkan melibatkan partisipasi dalam
kehidupan sosial masyarakat, selain itu dapat menumbuhkembangkan potensi
wisata daerah setempat guna memperbaiki kondisi Ekonomi, sosial dan kebudayaan
masyarakat, dan juga dapat menaikan citra yang positif bagi masyarakat kota
maupun ikatan Agam Inong kota Banda Aceh.

ABSTRACT The Community Development Program builds cooperation between the community and society to develop the tourism potential of the community area, in addition to improving the economic, social and cultural conditions of the community to achieve a better quality of life. The role of tourism communication in the digital era where the communication process plays an important role for tourists and local residents so they can exchange messages about their respective cultures. This causes the Banda Aceh City Tourism Ambassador association to easily promote tourism potential. However, there are a number of phenomena that occur in this industry. For example, some people still believe that tourism ambassadors only function as hosts and have no other function in society. The function of communication sometimes gives rise to misconceptions which often trigger debates between communities and groups and have an impact on interpersonal relationships in the real world. Using qualitative techniques and descriptive research design, the aim of this research is to find out how the Agam Inong Community Development program in the city of Banda Aceh contributes to the development of the tourism potential of Ulee Lheue village. Using Role Theory as a basis. The final finding of the research after carrying out the Saweu Gampong program activities is that the function of the tourism ambassador community is not just symbolic but involves participation in the social life of the community, apart from that it can develop the tourism potential of the local area in order to improve the economic, social and cultural conditions of the community, and can also increase a positive image for the city community and the Agam Inong association of Banda Aceh city.
