Penelitian ini berjudul Persepsi Masyarakat Kecamatan Trumon Terhadap Situs Cagar Budaya Benteng Trumon (Kuta Batee), penelittian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat Kecamatan Trumon terhadap situs cagar budaya Benteng Trumon (Kuta Batee), dan Menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat Kecamatan Trumon terhadap situs cagar budaya Benteng Trumon (Kuta Batee). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian bersifat deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 orang yang diambil secara random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa hasil persepsi masyarakat sekitar terhadap situs cagar budaya Benteng Trumon sudah tergolong baik dan jarak tempat tinggal dan pengetahuan merupakan faktor yang amat mempengaruhi situs cagar budaya Benteng Trumon di Kecamatan Trumon. Hasil pengisian kuesioner diperoleh jawaban bahwa masyarakat yang tinggal di Desa Keude Trumon lebih banyak mengetahui dari hasil sebaran kuesioner 100% masyarakat Desa Keude Trumon mengetahui tentang adanya situs cagar budaya Benteng Trumon, Desa Panton Bilie juga masih banyak yang mengetahui Benteng Trumon walaupun tidak semua mengetahui benteng tersebut, di bandingkan dengan Desa Raket yang berada jauh dari situs tersebut, sangat sedikit yang mengetahui. Hal ini ini disebabkan karena Desa Keude Trumon merupakan tempat lokasinya situs cagar budaya Benteng Trumon.

This research is entitled Perceptions of the Trumon District Community towards the Trumon Fort Cultural Heritage Site (Kuta Batee), this research aims to find out the perceptions of the Trumon District community towards the Trumon Fort cultural heritage site (Kuta Batee), and explain the factors that influence the perception of the Trumon District community towards the Trumon Fort cultural heritage site (Kuta Batee). This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is descriptive. The sample used in this study amounted to 90 people taken by random sampling. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been done, it is known that the results of the perception of the surrounding community towards the Trumon Fort cultural heritage site is classified as good and the distance of residence and knowledge is a factor that greatly affects the Trumon Fort cultural heritage site in Trumon District. The results of filling out the questionnaire obtained answers that people who live in Keude Trumon Village know more from the results of the distribution of questionnaires 100% of the people of Keude Trumon Village know about the existence of the Trumon Fort cultural heritage site, Panton Bilie Village also still knows a lot about Trumon Fort although not all know the fort, compared to Raket Village which is far from the site, very few know.
