Penelitian ini berjudul “Proses Teknik Vokal Pada Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Paduan Suara Di SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh Dengan Menggunakan Metode Demonstrasi” Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses peningkatan Teknik vokal dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler paduan suara di Smp Negeri 17 Banda Aceh. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, disebut penelitian deskriptif karena bertujuan untuk menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan keadaan suatu objek atau subjek penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anggota paduan suara Smp Negeri 17 Banda Aceh. Adapun objek penelitian ialah bagaimana penerapan pada teknik vokal anggota paduan suara SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh dapat mencapai keberhasilan dengan metode demonstrasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa pelatih memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam bertanggung jawab untuk memegang kendali atas perkembangan kualitas bernyanyi anggota paduan suara ini. Dikarenakan pada proses yang telah dilaksanakan pelatih memberikan pematerian terhadap Teknik pernapasan, Resonansi, sikap tubuh, Artikulasi, Dinamika dan intonasi serta tidak luput dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bernyanyi paduan suara siswa/i Smp Negeri 17 Banda Aceh.

ABSTRAC Thoriq Agamsyah (2024). The Process of Vocal Techniques in Choir Extracurricular Activities at SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh Using the Demonstration Method. This study is entitled "The Process of Vocal Techniques in Choir Extracurricular Activities at SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh Using the Demonstration Method" The purpose of this study was to determine how the process of improving vocal techniques using the demonstration method in extracurricular choir activities at Smp Negeri 17 Banda Aceh. In this study researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research, called descriptive research because it aims to describe or describe the state of an object or research subject. The subject of this research is the choir members of Smp Negeri 17 Banda Aceh. The object of research is how the application of vocal techniques in the choir members of SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh can achieve success with the demonstration method. Data collection was carried out using observation, field notes and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the coach has a very important role in being responsible for being in control of the development of the singing quality of the choir members. Due to the process that has been carried out, the coach provides training on breathing techniques, resonance, posture, articulation, dynamics and intonation and does not forget to apply the demonstration method in order to improve the singing ability of the choir students of Smp Negeri 17 Banda Aceh.
