Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Read Answer Discuss Explain and Create (RADEC) Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. Adapun tujuan penelitian (1) untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran RADEC pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran IPS kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-experimental design,berbentuk one group pretest posstest design. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Pada teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t-test beda dua rata-rata. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa (1) Penerapan model RADEC pada pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro telah dilaksanakan dengan baik sesuai dengan langkah-langkah pada model pembelajaran RADEC. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada hasil analisis penerapan model dan media dengan menggunakan observasi dengan persentase hasil 88% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dari penerapan model RADEC terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung dari ttabel atau 14,740 lebih besar dari 2,074 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak atau terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan model RADEC terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro.

This research is entitled The Effect of Read Answer Discuss Explain and Create (RADEC) Learning Model on Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Students in Grade VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. The purpose of the study (1) to determine the application of RADEC learning model in social studies class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. (2) to determine the effect of the use of RADEC learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research pre-experimental design, shaped one group pretest posstest design. The sample in this study were VII B class students totaling 24 students. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, tests, and documentation. In the data analysis technique using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test different between two means. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is known that (1) The application of the RADEC model in learning social studies class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro has been implemented well in accordance with the steps in the RADEC learning model. This can be seen in the results of the analysis of the application of models and media using observation with a percentage of 88% results which are included in the very good category. (2) There is a positive influence of the application of RADEC model on social studies learning outcomes of students in grade VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. Based on the results of the calculation of hypothesis testing obtained tcount of ttable or 14.740 greater than 2.074 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected or there is a positive and significant effect on the application of the RADEC model on social studies learning outcomes of seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Baro.
