Pada masa sekarang ini, banyak sekali pembangunan yang dilakukan oleh manusia, semakin menigkatnya populasi manusia mendukung pesatnya pembangunan. Menigkatnya pembangunan secara signifikan mengakibatkan ruang terbuka hijau mengalami degradasi pada setiap tahunnya. Semakin banyak penduduk maka kebutuhan bangunan dan energi semakin bertambah, namun seiring berjalannya waktu lahan semakin berkurang. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari kementrian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Republik Indonesia pada tahun 2023, menunjukkan bahwa sektor bangunan merupakan pengguna energi yang memakai lebih dari 30% konsumsi energi nasional. Menurut pengakuan dari The Committee on Climate Change menyatakan bahwa rumah tinggal bertanggung jawab terhadap 75% penggunaan energi dari sektor bangunan. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu rumah Komplek Perumahan Jati Indah, Banda Aceh, Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsep eco house yang sesuai di Banda Aceh dan mengetahui implementasi konsep eco house yang sesuai di Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah mengimplementasikan konsep eco house ke rumah tinggal. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil ialah konsep rumah tinggal eco house di Banda Aceh dapat dilakukan dengan 14 poin acuan yang berada pada penelitian ini, dan dari 14 poin tersebut terdapat 9 poin permasalahan dari 9 poin permasalahan
ini dirangkum menjadi 5 solusi desain yang ada pada penelitian ini.

Nowadays, a lot of development is carried out by humans, the increasing human population supports the rapid development. The significant increase in development has resulted in the degradation of green open spaces every year. As the population increases, the need for buildings and energy increases, but over time the land is decreasing. Based on data obtained from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia in 2023, it shows that the building sector is an energy user that consumes more than 30% of national energy consumption. According to the recognition of The Committee on Climate Change, residential houses are responsible for 75% of energy use from the building sector. This research was conducted in one of the houses of Jati Indah Housing Complex, Banda Aceh, Aceh. The purpose of this research is to find out the appropriate eco house concept in Banda Aceh and to find out the implementation of the appropriate eco house concept in Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The result of this research is to implement the concept of eco house to a residential house. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the concept of eco house in Banda Aceh can be done with 14 reference points that are in this research, and from these 14 points there are 9 points of problems from 9 points of problems summarised into 5 design solutions. are summarised into 5 design solutions that exist in this study.
