Wound healing is a complex physiological process in restoring continuity and structure of the tissue due to various mechanisms of injury. Many factors that can inhibit wound healing that comes from within and outside the body. Red guava (Psidium guajava) is a fruit that contains vitamin C. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of extract ointment the Red Guava loss of skin wound healing in the rat (Hundred norvegicus) to subcutaneous wound made with a diameter of 1 cm on the backs of mice with an anesthetic injection. These research methodology uses a laboratory experimental (posttest with control group) Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of 16 rats aged 3-4 months with average body weight 150-200 grams. Samples were divided 4 groups with 4 subjects of each group: the group I (control) were given vaseline white (placebo), group II, III and IV are given Guava extract ointment each with a concentration of 25%, 50%, and 75%. Treatment is as much as 2 times daily at 08.00 and 18.00 hrs. Wound healing observed in the macroscopic everyday. The results showed a mean wound healing in K0, K1, K2, and K3: 13.0 ± 0.00; 9.50 ± 1.00; 8.25 ± 0.95; 7.50 ± 0.57 days. From the data obtained showed guava extract ointment with a concentration of 75% is very influential on wound healing in mice. Research conclusions are ointments Guava extract having a concentration of 75%  more efficacy accelerates loss skin  wound healing in mice.&#13;
