Data didapat melalui proses survei terhadap 153 wirausaha di Kecamatan Lhoknga Aceh Besar sebagai sampel yang mewakili populasi penelitian dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument pengumpulan data. Teknik sampel yang digunakan non probability sampling menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) digunakan sebagai metode analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Economically Dependent Self-Employed dan Necessity Self-Employed secara signifikan mempengaruhi Work Engagement. Hasil penelitian juga menemukan pengaruh yang signifikan antara Economically Dependent Self-Employed dan Necessity Self-Employed terhadap Intrinsic Job Resources sehingga Intrinsic Job Resources mampu memediasi pengaruh Economically Dependent Self-Employed dan Necessity Self-Employed terhadap Work Engagement pada wirausaha di Kecamatan Lhoknga Aceh Besar.
