Pemahaman konsep sangat didorong oleh motivasi peserta didik, karena motivasi merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, fakta yang terjadi pemahaman konsep peserta didik rendah dalam memahami materi elektrolisis dan kurangnya motivasi dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul berbantuan media interaktif untuk mengetahui kelayakan, peningkatan motivasi dan pecapaian pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Implementasi modul berbantuan media interaktif ini menggunakan Nonequivalent Posttest-only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XII MAS Ulumul Qur’an Langsa. Adapun sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas XII MIA 1 dan MIA 2 masing-masing berjumlah 28 dan 26 peserta didik yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui lembar validasi, soal tes, dan angket. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori valid dan reliabel dengan rata-rata skor penilaian content validity index (CVI) sebesar 1,00 dan inter-rater agreement (IRA) sebesar 98,25. Hasil uji coba skala kecil diperoleh respon mahasiswa dengan nilai rata-rata 83,94% yang menunjukkan bahwa modul berbantuan media interaktif sangat praktis. Hasil posttest kemampuan pemahaman konsep pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan modul berbantuan media interaktif lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan buku cetak. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan motivasi peserta didik sebelum dan setelah menggunakan modul berbantuan media interaktif. Nilai rata-rata motivasi awal sebesar 75% dengan kategori tinggi meningkat menjadi 87% (sangat tinggi) dengan n-gain sebesar 0,44. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan modul berbantuan media interaktif ini layak digunakan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan modul tersebut dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan pencapaian pemahaman konsep peserta didik.

Understanding concepts is strongly driven by student motivation, because motivation is an important aspect in the learning process. However, the fact is that students' conceptual understanding is low in understanding electrolysis material and there is a lack of motivation in learning. Therefore, this research aims to develop a module assisted by interactive media to determine feasibility, increase motivation and achieve students' understanding of concepts. The research was carried out using the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. The implementation of this interactive media-assisted module uses Nonequivalent Posttest-only Control Group Design. The population in this study was class XII students at MAS Ulumul Qur'an Langsa. The sample for this research is class Data collection through validation sheets, test questions, and questionnaires. The validity test results show that the module developed is included in the valid and reliable category with an average content validity index (CVI) assessment score of 1.00 and an inter-rater agreement (IRA) of 98.25. The results of small-scale trials obtained student responses with an average score of 83.94%, which shows that the module assisted by interactive media is very practical. The posttest results of the ability to understand concepts in the experimental class which used modules assisted by interactive media were greater than those in the control class which used printed books. The results show that there is an increase in student motivation before and after using the interactive media-assisted module. The average initial motivation value was 75% with the high category increasing to 87% (very high) with an n-gain of 0.44. The results of this research show that this interactive media-assisted module is suitable for use, so it can be concluded that using this module can increase students' motivation and achievement of understanding concepts.
