Tantangan penangulangan TB di tahun 2020 diperberat dengan adanya pandemi virus Corona (COVID-19) yang membutuhkan langkah tepat dan efektif. Tes Cepat Molekuler (TCM) mendeteksi MTB sekaligus mendeteksi resistensi bakteri tersebut terhadap rifampisin. TCM memiliki sensitivitas 96,5% dalam mendiagnosis Multi Drug Resistance Tuberculosis (TB-MDR) dan sensitivitas 96,1%. dalam mendeteksi resistensi rifampisin. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan pemeriksaan TCM kasus TB Paru, diagnosis TB Paru dan kasus TB Paru resisten rifamfisin sebelum dan selama pandemi COVID-19 di RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli. Penelitian dilakukan di RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli dari Januari 2023 sampai Juli 2024. Desain penelitian analitik komparatif menggunakan data retrospektif untuk menganalisis efek pandemi Covid-19 terhadap angka pemeriksaan Tuberculosis Paru di RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli. Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder dari aporan pemeriksaan TCM mulai Trimester II 2018 sampai Trimester I 2022. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis univariat dengan memaparkan distribusi frekuensi dan analisis bivariat menggunakan paired t-test. Hasil menunjukkan pemeriksaan TCM sebelum pandemi COVID-19 paling banyak dilakukan pada trimester IV 2019 sebanyak 567 suspek (18,7%), sedangkan selama COVID-19 paling banyak pada trimester I 2021, 446 kasus (22%). Kasus terdiagnosis TB Paru sebelum COVID-19 paling banyak pada trimester II 2019 yaitu 97 kasus (29,04%) dan setelah COVID-19 paling banyak trimester II 2020 yaitu 81 kasus (23,68%). Kasus resisten rifampisin sebelum COVID-19 paling banyak ditemukan pada trimester III 2018 yaitu 12 kasus (14,3%) dan setelah COVID-19 terbanyak pada trimester I 2021 dengan 8 kasus (11%). Kesimpulan penelitian ada perbedaan bermakna pemeriksaan TCM kasus TB Paru sebelum dan selama pandemi COVID-19, ada perbedaan bermakna suspek yang positif TB Paru sebelum dan selama pandemi COVID-19 dan ada perbedaan bermakna kasus resisten rifampisin sebelum dan selama pandemi COVID-19 di RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli.

The challenge of tackling tuberculosis (TB) in 2020 was compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, necessitating precise and effective measures. Molecular Rapid Test (MRT) detects MTB while also identifying bacterial resistance to rifampicin. MRT has a sensitivity of 96.5% in diagnosing Multi Drug Resistance Tuberculosis (MDR-TB) and 96.1% sensitivity in detecting rifampicin resistance. The research aimed to assess differences in TCM testing for Pulmonary TB cases, Pulmonary TB diagnosis, and rifampicin-resistant Pulmonary TB cases before and during the COVID-19 pandemic at RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli. The study was conducted from January 2023 to July 2024. An analytical comparative study design using retrospective data analyzed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Pulmonary TB examination rates at RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli. Data sources included secondary data from MRT examination reports from the second quarter of 2018 to the first quarter of 2022. Data analysis involved univariate analysis showing frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using paired t-tests. Results indicated that TCM examinations before the COVID-19 pandemic were most frequently conducted in the fourth quarter of 2019 with 567 suspects (18.7%), whereas during COVID-19, the highest was in the first quarter of 2021, with 446 cases (22%). Pulmonary TB diagnoses were highest before COVID-19 in the second quarter of 2019, with 97 cases (29.04%), and post-COVID-19, highest in the second quarter of 2020, with 81 cases (23.68%). Rifampicin-resistant cases were most frequently found before COVID-19 in the third quarter of 2018, with 12 cases (14.3%), and post-COVID-19, highest in the first quarter of 2021, with 8 cases (11%). The study concluded significant differences in TCM testing for Pulmonary TB cases before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, significant differences in positive Pulmonary TB suspects before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, and significant differences in rifampicin-resistant cases before and during the COVID-19 pandemic at RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli.
