Kemandirian pada siswa berawal dari keluarga serta dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh orang tua. Pentingnya kemandirian bagi siswa untuk mengingat kompleksitas kehidupan dewasa ini yang secara langsung atau tidak langsung mempengaruhi kehidupan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kemandirian siswa dan pola asuh over protective, over permissive, over demanding, serta mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh over protective, over permissive, over demanding dengan kemandirian pada siswi SMA Fatih Bilingual School Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deksriptif. Adapun jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di SMA Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 47 orang siswa. Teknik Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik saturation sampling. Cara mengumpulkan data menggunakan Skala Pola Asuh dan Skala Kemandirian.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis korelasi. Berdasarkan analisis statistik tingkat kemandirian siswa berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 68,1% dan tingkat pola asuh over protective berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentasenya 55,3%, pola asuh over permissive berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 61,7% dan pola asuh over demanding juga berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 68,1%. Berdasarkan analisis korelasi diketahui bahwa nilai korelasi antara variabel pola asuh over protective dengan kemandirian memiliki nilai sebesar -0.410, nilai korelasi antara variabel pola asuh over permissive dengan kemandirian memiliki nilai sebesar -0.425, nilai korelasi antara variabel pola asuh over demanding dengan kemandirian memiliki nilai sebesar -0.561. Kesimpulannya pola asuh over protective, over permissive dan over demanding memiliki hubungan korelasi yang sedang dengan kemandirian siswa.

Independence in students begins with the family and is influenced by the parenting style of the parents. The importance of independence for students is to remember the complexity days which directly or indirectly affects students' lives. This research aims to determine the description of student independence and over-protective, over-permissive, over-demanding parenting patterns, as well as determine the relationship between over-protective, over-permissive, over-demanding parenting patterns and independence among female high school students at Fatih Bilingual School, Banda Aceh City. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research type. The population in this study was all students at SMA Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh. The total research sample was 47 students. The sampling technique uses saturation sampling technique. Collect data using the Parenting Pattern Scale and Independence Scale. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive statistical analysis and correlation analysis. Based on statistical analysis, the level of student independence is in the low category with a percentage of 68.1% and the level of over protective parenting is in the medium category with a percentage of 55.3%, over permissive parenting is in the high category with a percentage of 61.7% and over demanding is also in the high category with a percentage of 68.1%. Based on correlation analysis, it is known that the correlation value between the variable over-protective parenting and independence has a score -0.410, the correlation score between the variable over-permissive parenting and independence has a score of -0.425, the correlation score between the variable over-demanding parenting and independence has a score -0.425. -0.561. In conclusion, over-protective, over-permissive and over-demanding parenting patterns have a moderate correlation with student independence. Keywords: independence, Parenting style, Parents
