Penelitian yang berjudul ”Analisis Tingkat Kesulitan dan Kualitas Soal Tes pada Materi Kesetimbangan Kimia”. Penelitian ini ditujukan guna memahami kualitas dari soal tes yang digunakan pada perkuliahan kesetimbangan kimia. Jenis penelitiannya yaitu studi deskriptif berpendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Syiah Kuala angkatan 2022 sebanyak dua kelas yang berjumlah 50 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, soal yang valid jumlahnya 29 butir soal dan soal yang tidak valid jumlahnya 11 soal dengan persentase masing-masingnya 72,5% dan 27,5%. Hasil uji reliabilitas tes butir soal didapat koefisien relibialitas pada kelas 01 kuis 1 dan kuis 2 secara berurutan diperoleh koefisien reabilitas adalah sebesar 0,4123 dan 0,7514. Kelas 02 pada kuis 1 dan 2 secara berurutan adalah 0,8785 dan 0,7869. Dari 40 soal yang mempunyai daya beda baik sebesar 75% atau 30 soal, cukup sebesar 15% atau 6 soal dan yang kurang 10% atau 4 soal. Tingkat kesukaran disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 22 soal yang termasuk kedalam kategori sedang, 6 soal kategori sukar, 2 soal kategori sangat sukar, 9 soal kategori mudah serta 1 soal kategori sangat mudah. Efektivitas Pengecoh dipasangkan 20 pengecoh dan terdapat 7 soal (35%) pengecoh yang tidak berfungsi seperti pada nomor 8 dan 11 dan terdapat 13 soal (65%) pengecoh yang berfungsi baik.

Analyzing the quality of the test meant to tell the quality of the test problem used in the course of the chemical equilibrium. This study is a qualitative research. The subject are student at FKIP university of 2022 generations, two classes of 50. 01 class is 27 students and class 02 is 23 students. Based on validity tests, valid amount to 29 questions and invalid questions are 11 with a percentage of 72.5% and 27.5% each. Based on the reliability tests provided on the class 01 quiz 1 class of 0.4123, the 01 class quiz 2 of 0.7514, class 02 quiz 1 of 0.8785 and class 02 quiz 2 of 0.7869. Based on differentiating power has a 75% or as many as 30 questions of having a good differential power, 15% or as many as 6 questions are enough differentiating power and 10% or as many as 4 questions are having deficient differential power. According to level of difficulty, it is concluded as much as 22 questions (55%) are as high as medium. According to the level of difficulty concluded that there were 22 questions in the medium category, 6 questions in the difficult category, 2 questions in the very difficult category, 9 questions in the easy category and 1 question in the very easy category. Effectiveness of Distractors: 20 distractors were used and there were 7 questions (35%) of distractors that did not work as in numbers 8 and 11 and there were 13 questions (65%) of distractors that functioned well.
