Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan (1) jenis problematika sosial dan (2) teknik penyampaiannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi karya sastra dan teknik analisis isi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah antologi cerpen pilihan Kompas 2021 dengan data primernya bagian-bagian cerpen yang berkaitan dengan tema problematika sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, pertama, jenis problematika sosial yang ditemukan dalam antologi cerpen pilihan Kompas 2021 yaitu: kemiskinan, penyakit dan wabah, tindak kekerasan terhadap perempuan, luka sejarah dan pelanggaran norma. Terdapat empat bentuk tindak kekerasan terhadap perempuan terdapat meliputi: kekerasan fisik, kekerasan psikologi, kekerasan seksual dan kekerasan ekonomi. Adapun untuk jenis problematika sosial pelanggaran normameliputi: kriminalitas, kebrobrokan birokrasi, skandal dan hipokrit. Kedua, teknik pengarang menyampaikan problematika sosial dilakukan dengan dua teknik, yaitu teknik analitis dan teknik dramatik. Teknik pengarang menggambarkan problematika sosial didominasi teknik analitis dibanding dengan teknik dramatik, sehingga pembaca dapat dengan mudah memahami maksud yang disampaikan pengarang dalam cerpennya melalui penjelasan dan deskripsi secara langsung.

ABSTRACT Anita Susanti (2024) Society Problems in Anthology Selected Short Story Kompas 2021. This research describes (1) types of society problems and (2) techniques for conveying them. This research is library research using a sociological approach to literary works and content analysis techniques. The data source for this research is the short story anthology selected by Kompas 2021 with the primary data being parts of short stories related to the theme of social problems. The results of this research show, first, the types of social problems found in the short story anthology selected by Kompas 2021, namely: poverty, disease and epidemics, acts of violence against women, historical wounds and violations of norms. There are four forms of violence against women, including: physical violence, psychological violence, sexual violence and economic violence. The types of social problems that violate norms include: crime, bureaucratic dilapidation, scandal and hypocrisy. Second, the author's technique of conveying social problems is done using two techniques, namely analytical techniques and dramatic techniques. The author's technique of describing social problems is dominated by analytical techniques compared to dramatic techniques, so that readers can easily understand the intentions conveyed by the author in his short story through direct explanations and descriptions.
