Penelitian ini membahas kontribusi layanan bimbingan karir terhadap kemampuan perencanaan karir siswa di SMA. Fokus pada pemahaman diri, perencanaan studi lanjutan, dan hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi siswa. Dengan melibatkan siswa kelas XII, penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tingkat pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan karir dan dampaknya pada perencanaan karir siswa, memberikan gambaran menyeluruh terkait keberhasilan perencanaan karir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis survei deskriptif dan korelasi. Dilaksanakan di tiga SMA di Banda Aceh pada November 2023. Populasi siswa kelas XII, total 659. Sampel 275 siswa dipilih dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa berupa angket. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji korelasi Pearson, serta uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan rata-rata persepsi siswa terhadap layanan bibingan karir dan kemampuan perencanaan karir sudah baik. Kategori persepsi Sangat Tinggi sebesar 42% (123 siswa), kategori Tinggi sebesar 37% (107 siswa), kategori sedang 19%, kategori rendah 2% (7 siswa) dan Kategori Sangat Rendah 0% (1 siswa). Kemampuan perencanaan karir siswa berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi yaitu 50% (147 siswa), kategori tinggi adalah 29% (84 siswa), kategori sedang adalah 20% (60 siswa), dan kategori Rendah 1% (2 siswa). Uji normalitas menunjukkan distribusi normal setelah mengatasi outlier. Uji linearitas menunjukkan hubungan linear yang signifikan. Uji korelasi Pearson menegaskan hubungan kuat dan signifikan antara kedua variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai r (koefisien korelasi pearson) adalah 0,770 dengan tingkat hubungan kuat (interval 0,60-0,799 = kategori kuat). Koefisien determinasi sebesar 59,2% menunjukkan kontribusi yang signifikan dari layanan bimbingan karir terhadap kemampuan perencanaan karir siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar siswa kelas XII di SMA Banda Aceh memiliki persepsi yang sangat baik terhadap layanan bimbingan karir dan kemampuan perencanaan karir mereka. Terdapat hubungan kuat dan signifikan antara layanan bimbingan karir dengan kemampuan perencanaan karir siswa. Evaluasi dan perbaikan terus-menerus diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan.

This research discusses the contribution of career guidance services to students' career planning abilities in high school. Focus on self-understanding, planning for further studies, and the challenges facing students. By involving class XII students, this research aims to identify the level of implementation of career guidance services and their impact on students' career planning, providing a comprehensive picture regarding the success of career planning. This research uses a quantitative approach, descriptive and correlation survey type. Implemented in three high schools in Banda Aceh in November 2023. The population of class XII students is 659. A sample of 275 students was selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the average student perception of guidance and counseling services and career planning abilities is good. The Very High perception category was 42% (123 students), the High category was 37% (107 students), the medium category was 19%, the low category was 2% (7 students) and the Very Low Category was 0% (1 student). Students' career planning abilities are in the very high category, namely 50% (147 students), the high category is 29% (84 students), the medium category is 20% (60 students), and the low category is 1% (2 students). The normality test shows a normal distribution after dealing with outliers. The linearity test shows a significant linear relationship. The Pearson correlation test confirms the strong and significant relationship between the two variables. The research results show that the r value (Pearson correlation coefficient) is 0.770 with a strong relationship level (interval 0.60-0.799 = strong category). The coefficient of determination of 59.2% shows the significant contribution of career guidance services to students' career planning abilities. The conclusion of this research is that the majority of class XII students at SMA Banda Aceh have a very good perception of career guidance services and their career planning abilities. There is a strong and significant relationship between career guidance services and students' career planning abilities. Continuous evaluation and improvement is needed to improve service quality.
