Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui resepsi pembaca Wattpad terhadap novel Little Wife, Lexa karya Muja Hidah dalam persepsi Stuart Hall. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini pembaca yang menanggapi novel Little Wife, Lexa di Wattpad. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa komentar pembaca yang diambil sebanyak 81 komentar. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi unobtrusive dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tiga kategori tanggapan ditemukan dalam novel Little Wife, Lexa yaitu tanggapan dominan, negosiasi, dan oposisi. Keseluruhan tanggapan yang telah diteliti berjumlah 81. Dari jumlah keseluruhan tersebut ditemukan 39 tanggapan pembaca dominan dengan komentar yang bersifat menerima atau menyukai pesan yang disampaikan penulis. Selanjutnya, ditemukan 29 tanggapan pembaca yang masuk ke dalam kategori negosiasi dengan tanggapan yang bersifat menerima atau suka namun ada unsur yang ditolak dalam pesan yang disampaikan oleh penulis. Kemudian, ditemukan 13 tanggapan pembaca yang masuk ke dalam kategori oposisi dengan tanggapan yang bersifat menolak pesan yang disampaikan penulis karena adanya perbedaan ideologi dan pengalaman.

This research aims to determine the reception of Wattpad readers towards the novel Little Wife, Lexa by Muja Hidah as perceived by Stuart Hall. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data source for this research is readers who responded to the novel Little Wife, Lexa on Wattpad. The data in this research is in the form of reader comments taken as many as 81 comments. This research uses data collection techniques with unobtrusive observation and documentation. The results of this research show that three categories of responses were found in the novel Little Wife, Lexa, namely dominant, negotiation and opposition responses. The total number of responses that have been researched is 81. Of this total, 39 dominant reader responses were found with comments that accepted or liked the message conveyed by the author. Furthermore, 29 reader responses were found that fell into the negotiation category with responses that were accepting or liking but there were elements that were rejected in the message conveyed by the author. Then, 13 reader responses were found that fell into the opposition category with responses that rejected the message conveyed by the author due to differences in ideology and experience.
