Dalam proses belajar mengajar perilaku belajar dan kecerdasan emosional siswa merupakan salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan tinggi rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap mata pelajaran sehingga mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh perilaku belajar dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap pemahaman siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bireuen. Penelitian ini mengunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Populasi dan sampel yaitu siswa kelas X,XI,dan XII jurusan IPS di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bireuen yang berjumlah 69 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua macam instrumen yaitu tes meliputi soal untuk menguji pemahaman siswa dan non-tes meliputi kuesioner perilaku belajar dan kecerdasan emosional siswa. Untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh perilaku belajar dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap pemahaman siswa digunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan uji determinasi R2 (Rsquare) setelah prasyarat pengujian terpenuhi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa 1) besarnya pengaruh perilaku belajar terhadap pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di MAN 2 Bireuen memperoleh nilai thitung 2,630 > ttabel 1.66792 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,011 < 0,05 dan R2 (RSquare) sebesar 0,094. 2) besarnya pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di MAN 2 Bireuen memperoleh nilai thitung -5.276 > ttabel 1.66792 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan R2 (RSquare) sebesar 0,293. Dengan demikian berarti Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak sehingga hipotesis yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh variabel perilaku belajar (X1) dan kecerdasan emosional (X2) terhadap pemahaman siswa (Y) dapat diterima. Dan besarnya pengaruh dari masing-masing variabel adalah X1 = 9,4% dan X2 = 29,3%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh perilaku belajar dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa jurusan IPS MAN 2 Bireuen..

Nadia Ulfa (2024). The Influence of Learning Behavior and Emotional Intelligence on Students' Understanding of Economics Subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bireuen. In the teaching and learning process, students' learning behavior and emotional intelligence are one of the factors that cause students' high and low levels of understanding of subjects, thereby influencing student learning outcomes. This research aims to find out how much influence learning behavior and emotional intelligence have on students' understanding at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bireuen. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sampling method in this research used a saturated sampling technique. The population and sample were students in classes X, The data collection technique in this research used two types of instruments, namely tests including questions to test students' understanding and non-tests including questionnaires on learning behavior and students' emotional intelligence. To find out how much influence learning behavior and emotional intelligence have on students' understanding, the t-test was used with a significance level of 0.05 and the R2 (Rsquare) determination test after the testing prerequisites were met. Based on the research results, it is known that 1) the magnitude of the influence of learning behavior on students' understanding of economics subjects at MAN 2 Bireuen obtained a tcount value of 2.630 > ttable 1.66792 with a significance level of 0.011 < 0.05 and R2 (RSquare) of 0.094. 2) the magnitude of the influence of emotional intelligence on students' understanding of economics subjects at MAN 2 Bireuen obtained a value of tcount -5.276 > ttable 1.66792 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 and R2 (RSquare) of 0.293. This means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected so that the hypothesis which states that there is an influence of learning behavior variables (X1) and emotional intelligence (X2) on student understanding (Y) can be accepted. And the magnitude of the influence of each variable is X1 = 9.4% and X2 = 29.3%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of learning behavior and emotional intelligence on students' understanding of economics subjects for students majoring in Social Sciences at MAN 2 Bireuen.
