Pemanfaatan RTH perkotaan sebagai representasi ruang sosial oleh remaja bermaksud untuk menganalisis bentuk pemanfaatan RTH oleh remaja di Kota Banda Aceh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis representasi ruang sosial pada pemanfaatan RTH Kota Banda Aceh. Lokasi penelitian ini di RTH perkotaan Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, pendekatan studi kasus dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan RTH oleh remaja. Teori yang digunakan produksi ruang oleh Henry Lefebvre. Penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan sejumlah individu. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa ketiga RTH memiliki kesamaan dan perbedaan dalam penggunaannya oleh remaja. RTH Lapangan Blang Padang dimanfaatkan oleh remaja untuk berbagai aktivitas seperti olahraga, rekreasi, kuliner, event-event, dan berjualan. Sementara RTH Taman Kota Nursery Bustanussalatin digunakan remaja untuk rekreasi, diskusi, latihan sanggar, event-event, dan berswafoto. RTH Hutan Kota BNI Tibang dimanfaatkan remaja untuk kegiatan rekreasi, olahraga, diskusi, penelitian, dan berswafoto. Dalam praktik spasial, ketiga RTH efektif menjadi ruang hidup dinamis dengan beragam aktivitas remaja, menciptakan pola interaksi dan melibatkan masyarakat. Representasi ruang, ketiga RTH tercermin sebagai ruang sosial, karena aktivitas remaja di dalamnya terkait erat dengan ranah sosial, seperti interaksi, komunikasi, dan perilaku. Ruang representasi, ketiga RTH tersebut dianggap sebagai fasilitas yang mendukung untuk mengekspresikan diri dan menyalurkan hobi, dianggap sebagai solusi optimal pemerintah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan remaja dan masyarakat.

The utilization of urban green spaces as a representation of social space by teenagers aims to analyze the forms of green space utilization by teenagers in the city of Banda Aceh. The objective of this research is to analyze the representation of social space in the utilization of green spaces in Banda Aceh City. The study is conducted in urban green spaces in Banda Aceh City. This research employs a qualitative method, utilizing a case study approach with a focus on the utilization of green spaces by teenagers. The theoretical framework used is the production of space by Henry Lefebvre. The study involves in-depth interviews with several individuals. Findings indicate that the three green spaces share similarities and differences in their use by teenagers. Blang Padang Field Green Space is utilized by teenagers for various activities such as sports, recreation, culinary pursuits, events, and sales. Meanwhile, Nursery Bustanussalatin City Park Green Space is used by teenagers for recreation, discussions, studio practice, events, and photo sessions. BNI Tibang City Forest Green Space is utilized by teenagers for recreational activities, sports, discussions, research, and photo sessions. In spatial practice, these three green spaces effectively become dynamic living spaces with diverse teenage activities, creating interaction patterns and involving the community. The representation of space in the three green spaces is reflected as social space, as teenage activities within are closely linked to the social realm, including interaction, communication, and behavior. The representation of space in these three green spaces is considered as facilities that support self-expression and the channeling of hobbies by teenagers, seen as an optimal solution provided by the government to meet the needs of teenagers and the community.
