ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of financial literacy, religiosity and social environment on interest in investing in the islamic capital market among the people of Banda Aceh city. This research uses quantitative data consisting of primary data and secondary data. The sample for this research consisted of 123 respondents who were residents of Banda Aceh City aged 20-49 years and were considered to understand managing their own funds. Data analysis uses the multiple linear regression test method. The results show that partially and simultaneously financial literacy, religiosity and social environment have a significant effect on the interest in investing in the islamic capital market among the people of Banda Aceh City. Based on the results of this research, the islamic capital market should also be used as material for decision making in investing its funds and for the government it can be used to understand what factors can influence investment interest.
