Kedisiplinan siswa merupakan aspek kritis dalam mencapai lingkungan pembelajaran yang efektif di sekolah. Adanya kedsiplinan dapat membuat siswa menjadi lebih bertanggung jawab atas dirinya, dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kedisiplinan siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dengan menetapkan 8 orang informan yang terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, guru IPS, guru IPA, guru BK, Komite Sekolah dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data model interaktif (Miles And Huberman) yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar masih tergolong rendah, terlihat dari tiga indikator tertib mentaati peraturan sekolah ini tergolong masih rendah, tertib mentaati peraturan kelas tergolong rendah, dan tertib dalam melaksanakan tugas sudah lebih meningkat kedisiplinannya dari sebelumnya. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini : (1) secara keseluruhan kedisiplinan siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar masih tergolong rendah, (2) terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan kedisiplinan siswa tergolong rendah, seperti lokasi sekolah, lingkungan siswa, ekonomi, dan juga keluarga. (3) solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kedisiplinan siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar adalah dapat melibatkan beberapa langkah strategis dan penguatan program kedisiplinan di sekolah.

Discipline can make students more responsible for themselves and their surrounding environment. The aim of this research is to determine the discipline of class IX students at SMP Negeri 2 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The subjects in this research were determined using a purposive sampling technique, by selecting 8 informants consisting of the Principal, Social Studies teacher, Science teacher, Guidance and Counseling teacher, School Committee and Students. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is an interactive data model (Miles and Huberman), namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the discipline of class IX students at SMP Negeri 2 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar is still relatively low, it can be seen from the three indicators that discipline in obeying school regulations is still relatively low, discipline in obeying class regulations is low, and discipline in carrying out tasks has increased more than previously. Conclusions in this research: (1) overall the discipline of class IX students at SMP Negeri 2 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar is still relatively low, (2) there are several factors that cause student discipline to be low, such as school location, student environment, economy, and also family. (3) the solution that can be taken to overcome the discipline of class IX students at SMP Negeri 2 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar is to involve several strategic steps and strengthening the discipline program at school.
