Transportasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang sangat beragam terutama di Kota Banda Aceh. Kota Banda Aceh juga memiliki dua Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) yaitu Universitas Syiah Kuala dan Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry yang memiliki jumlah mahasiswa yang tinggi setiap tahunnya. Untuk memenuhi akan kebutuhan aktivitas yang sangat beragam tersebut, hadirlah layanan transportasi online yang salah satunya berbasis roda dua atau sepeda motor. Layanan transportasi online ini sangat populer seiring perkembangan teknologi dikarenakan kemudahan pengguna jasa untuk pemesanan dan pembayaran melalui aplikasi yang tersedia pada smartphone pengguna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi keputusan mahasiswa terhadap pemilihan moda transportasi online berbasis sepeda motor atau ojek online dan besarnya pengaruh masing-masing faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan mahasiswa dalam memilih moda tersebut. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi logit biner dan pengolahan data dengan software SPSS (Statistical Package of the Social Sciences). Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan probabilitas pemilihan moda dari hasil analisis didapatkan yang bersedia sebesar 44% dan yang tidak bersedia sebesar 56% dengan variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi kesediaan memilih moda secara positif adalah status (bekerja sampingan) (X6), status penerima beasiswa (X9), jenis tempat tinggal (X10), jumlah kepemilikan mobil (X13), tujuan perjalanan (X15), dan kualitas pelayanan (X18). Sedangkan yang mempengaruhi kesediaan memilih moda secara negatif adalah jenis kelamin (X1) dan jenjang kuliah (X4).

Transportation is highly needed to fulfill various needs, especially in the city of Banda Aceh. Banda Aceh also hosts two public universities, namely Syiah Kuala University and Ar-Raniry State Islamic University, which have a high number of students every year. To cater to these diverse activity needs, there is the presence of online transportation services, one of which is based on two-wheeled vehicles or motorcycles. These online transportation services have gained popularity due to technological advancements, providing ease for service users to book and pay through applications available on their smartphones. The aim of this research is to identify the factors influencing students' decisions in choosing motorcycle-based online transportation or ride-hailing services, and the extent to which each factor influences their choice of mode of transportation. The analysis employed binary logistic regression and data processing using the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software. The research results indicate that the probability of choosing this mode of transportation is 44% among those willing and 56% among those unwilling. The variables positively influencing the willingness to choose this mode are status (part-time work) (X6), scholarship recipient status (X9), type of residence (X10), number of car ownerships (X13), travel destination (X15), and service quality (X18). Meanwhile, the factors negatively affecting the willingness to choose this mode are gender (X1) and academic level (X4).
